| "Raming Lodge is a very nice hotel built 3 years ago with friendly staff and good service. They have a nice restaurang with very good food. The only thing I missed was a pool but that is under construction now and should be finished soon. The hotel is located nearby the nightmarket(300m) and there is many restaurants in the area." |

| "The hotel is very good, with an excellent location, very near to the night bazzare, old city and other attractions. The rooms are very clean, spacious and very comfortable. Theonly problem I had was that I had reserved through asiarooms a double room with one King bed. When I got to the hotel, they provided me with a room with two single beds. I objected, and the receptionist suggested that I contact asiarooms which I have refused to do. Upon my insistance for having a King bed and some raising voices, the receptionist turns around and told me that they have such room. What I was unable to understand is why did I have to argue with the receptionist for half an hour when such room would have been available. In a Hotel where all the staff were very nice and helpful, this small incidence was almost to ruin the stay, should the mistake went uncorrected. I do not think a single person calling for a double room with a King bed, will accept to pass his vacation on a single bed. Asiarooms may need to confirm whether the room request by the client was completely achieved. As I noticed that they say on their receipt that they can not guarantee this. In my view, if someone asks for a double room with a King Bed, he should get a double room with a King bed and not with two single beds. Nevertheless, the Hotel was very good and beyond this incident, it was a very pleasant stay. " |

| "This hotel is in a great location. Just a short walk to the night markets, bars and food court. Rooms are spacious and service is great. They do have a lift or use the stairs for some exercise. Breakfast includes fresh fruit and juices. Highly recommend this hotel and would stay again. A little disappointed that this hotel does not have a pool" |

| "The web site looks appealing - don't be fooled.
We travel to Chiang Mai every year for a brief period and wanted to try a change of venue - big mistake.
Breakfast choice very limited - hardly worth bothering.
We booked a delux room with a free mini-bar (same room as standard with the exception of the free mini-bar facility) at a cost of approximately £8 ($16) per day extra.
1) Air conditioning with individual control - when arriving in room at the end of the day 29 degrees - system operates down to approximately 25 degrees - don't know whether the system was faulty or restricted to save cost. Either way not satisfactory.
2)Complimentary internet for private notebook - not operational from room.
3) Well stocked refridgerator and free mini bar for 2 persons consisted of 1 can of coke, 1 can of sprite and 1 can of fanta. No beer or alcohol. We complained on arrival assuming they had forgotten to stock the fridge and mini bar (3 times in 5 hours). Staff visited the room and left - still nothing. Following yet another trip to reception to complain we were told that is all they provide but that it is restocked (up to 3 cans) daily - whoopsy do! What a waste of time and expense- this facility added about £8 ($16) per day to the room rate.
4)Guest can enjoy a high floor to obtain the spectacular view of Chiang Mai city - our room looked overlooked the back streets, nothing spectacular - we kept the curtains shut.
5)Desk staff gave a 'couldn't care a less' attitude.
6)Rooms accessed off an open courtyard - race to get into the room and shut the door before adding a mosquito or two.
7)Furnishing old, drawer to bedside table broken.
8)Room clean but unappealing.
Considered leaving and checking in elsewhere but for the 3 night stay decided to put up with it. Definately not worth the money. There are far better choices of places to stay in and around the area. We won't make this mistake again & suggest you learn from ours. " |

| "Great location. Just outside the wall surrounding the city. Walking distance to the Sunday walking streets, night bazaar, all the major attractions.
Only problem was they didn't have our room we reserved so we had to pay for an upgrade. I would have thought they would have given us the upgrade for free considering we had a reservation. Other than that, the hotel was great. Definitely recommend. " |
