| "We stayed at this hotel for 2 days, the time for us to visit chiang rai.
It's ideally localted in the golden triangle, facing burma & laos.
The rooms are nice, though bathroom could be a bit improved, but nothing disturbing. The swimming pool is gorgeous, amist the exotic vegetation.
The italian restaurant was very good, but breakfast was a bit poor compared to the other hotel we stayed at.
Staff was very friendly, as is most often the case in thailand.
We had a nice time trying to ride the elephants from the park. It was a very pleasant stay. " |

| "We came as a family, and we really liked the service and the room as a whole. We loved the elephant camp, and the only thing less positive was the wait for the food at the Thai restaurant. " |

| "really gorgeous grounds! however, you pay in two ways: 1. the hotel is remote and all of their services/excursions are very expensive 2. the thai food at the hotel is pretty dumbed down
overall, great place to relax with a partner or close friend. beautiful view!" |

| "We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel very much but we did think it very expensive for what you got. The Hotel is rather a long way from anywhere so you were a bit restricted where you could go to eat. We found the drinks at the Hotel very expensive & also the restaurants. The rooms were very nice & very clean & the staff were very attentive & helpful. The views from the hotel rooms were stunning & also from the infinity swimming pool but the pool wasn't very good for novice swimmers as there wasn't much of a shallow area." |

| "The resort is quite nice and has beautiful views.it is very remote and you are capitive to the resort and its very high cost for almost anything you order extra. Excample a local beer is almost 5 dollars per bottle yet a few miles away can be purchased for under 50 cents. No matter how wealthy you are most of us resent overcharges. The spa was quite nice and we would have spent many days with treatments but the cost compared to bangkok at a 5 star hotel where exorbitant!!! Staff was very good and experienced and the food was well prepared and presented. " |

| "The hotel and facilities are nice but for the location and interest of the area (golden triangle) the prices (room, food and especially drinks) are much to high (a glass of wine costs than 400 bahts, a ordinary italian wine bottle 1700 !). " |

| "Our experience at the Anantara Resort and Spa was excellent - our room was upgraded for us and extremely comfortable. The Italian restaurant we used could have been a little better but the staff were excellent. " |
