A boutique hotel in a very relaxing setting with excellent rooms. For a boutique hotel, the River House still makes excellent efforts to provide facilities found in a larger hotel such as a small gym and library with Internet. The pool is wonderful - good for relaxation and lap swimming! Location is a bit off the beaten path, but the setting and view on the Rim Kok River are what makes it so relaxing. Town is all of ten minutes ride away. The hotel is now plugged into the two golf courses in close proximity, both of which are excellent!

| "My family had a wonderful stay at The River House. It's a private hotel with a good view of the river. The hotel is very clean, staff helpful and polite with impeccable service. The location of the hotel is a little remote with no nearby shops but it provides free transport to night bazaar. Good facilities like gym and free use of internet. Food at the hotel is reasonable. There are few guests at the hotel so it's quiet most of the time. My children love it and would definitely like to go back again." |

| "We only stayed for 1 night but were really impressed with the friendly service. The whole resort looked 'cared for'. We were picked up and dropped off at the airport for no extra charge. They also have a free shuttle bus into the city centre. The rooms were large with lovely gardens. Also enjoyed a float in their large pool." |

| "We stayed at the River House in Late October 07. It seemed to be "off season" as there were not that many guests in the hotel. The grounds are beautiful, the staff is gracious and the room was perfect! " |

| "A very adequate hotel, only a short open-cab ride from the center of town. Not luxury, but clean, modern, free internet access, all the necessary amenities, free ride to the airport. Can't really complain for the price." |

| "Yes, we probably would. I felt this hotel was great value. It is located a little far from town and a walk isn't really the easiest (though we did it once when we didn't really know how long it would take) so that has to be ok with anyone staying here. You can get a free shuttle into town for the night market but we also used it to have dinner in town a few times. I was very happy with the restaurant food and prices at the resort as well. We also had massages and these were very good and very value as well. " |
