"Thw Wiang Inn is a good Hotel to stay in. It has the advantage of being slap bang in the middle of town and is very close to the night market and restaurants and bars. The staff are friendly and the hotel is one of the best in Chiang Rai. They have a pool which is OK but ahs a concrete surround. Breakfast is a buffet affair which is usually good but seems to depend on how busy the place is. There is as Singer Pianoist most nights in the Lobby which is nice and a Thai Massage Place and Night Club. Over all my wife and I have stayed there many times nad although not as good as some hotel in Ciang Mai it is a very good value for mony place to stay."
