| "We have stayed at this resort before. We like the location and ambiance .... good stop off point if driving south. The gardens are beautiful and the pool is very nice for swimming.
Maybe the time of year but too many flies when eating ... both in the resort and outside.
Our room was on the ground floor at the back of one of the blocks ... rather dark, hence our rating. A pool-facing room would probably have been much nicer, but the hotel was full. Room was OK but rather worn out. Blocked toilet was soon fixed!

| "Other thatn the 13k tuk tuk ride in the middle of the night it was the most beautiful setting to have a vacation. The separate bungalows are sooo cool! stay here and you wont be dissapointed!" |

| "The grounds of the hotel are designed and created nicely. The restaurant and the reception also. The building in which our (standard)rooms were, were a big mistake though. They didnīt look nice, they were not maintained well and the floors were very unhospitable. All doors seem to close only with a bang and hot water was not always available. The pool was ok, but not more than that. There were no sunbeds on the beach. On the hotelgrounds there were a few wooden sunbeds, without matrasses of any kind. I never saw anyone use them. The food in the restaurant, was very nice, but breakfast was pretty bad. Bees and flies were all over the buffet. The surroundings of the hotel donīt have much to offer. " |

| "The hotel is in a great location. Literally right on the beach. I wouldn't say the beach is the nicest in Thailand, but it does have that clear water, and it's much nicer than the beaches further north.
We stayed in both the standard room and the bungalo during our stay and both were exceptionally comfortable.
My only complaint would be that the pool was closed for cleaning the enitire 4 days we were there, which disappointing.
Overall however, I would say the Chumphon Cabana Hotel is amazing value." |

| "If you are looking for a peacefull and relaxing break, there is no better place than The Cabana Resort at Chumphon. The food is excelent,the service is very friendly and cheerfull, and the views are out of this world. Ican not wait to return in Jan; 2002" |

| "If you want a nice quiet place at the beach with a attentive staff, lovely rounds and pretty good diving, try this place. There's no nightlife here, but that is easy to find in most Thai venues - this is a quiet, family hotel. Try it!" |
