We had a great stay at this very centrally located hotel. Breakfast has a very large choice. Staff is very charming, helpful and efficient. Swimming pools have ample choice of deckchairs. When we left we forgot some important papers and the hotel staff was extremely efficient and helpful in sending them within 24 hours to the Sofitel in Bangkok, where we could get them the next day. This hotel is highly recommended for a very relaxing holiday.

| "I always wanted to stay in this hotel for its colonial style wich is rare in Thailand. The huge and perfect designed garden is great.To walk around the buildings is fantastic. The staff is very correct ,friendly and helpfull.They have 3 swimmingpools and many restaurants. The afternoon tea is very popular with the guests. We had a superior room, very basic worth 2 or max 3 stars.When I stay in 5 star hotels I never take my toothbrush or rasor with me, but nothing to find there in the bathroom wich is very poor, only shower and toilet.Breakfast is normal, nothing special. When you stay in Sofitel Hua Hin you realy pay for the building as such, not for the room. In the high season they double the price and that is realy not worth it." |

| "A really excellent place to stay. Only downside was the limited access to the reception area for anyone who has difficulty walking. My wife had trouble accessing the stairs to this area and there was no wheelchair access to it although all other areas are disabled friendly. The staff are excellent and extremely helpful." |

| "A lovely well-maintained old building, beautiful gardens and a prime location right in the middle of Hua Hin. I thought the rooms were a bit dull and uninspiring and there was a rather 'stuffy' ambience about the place, mainly due to the predominantly middle-class northern European guests rather than the staff who were very pleasant. Excellent food although the hotel restaurants were generally quiet in the evenings and therefore somewhat lacking in atmosphere (this was no doubt due to the large selection of good places to eat and drink outside, all within easy walking distance). Overall, well worth a visit." |
