| "Service absolutely appalling. Nice resort but very overpriced compared to others in the area. Also not on the beach. Would definitely not recommend this place. Stayed for two nights then moved to a hotel on the beach." |

| "This was without doubt the best stay at a hotel we have had. The cottages each have a lily pond outside the entrance and were spotless, well maintained, spacious and very comfortable. Make sure to book early if you want to be guaranteed a kingsize bed though.
The staff were exceptional. Always friendly and on hand to offer assistance, they helped to make the stay truly memorable. We visited during Songkran and were treated to enjoying this important Thai celebration with all the staff and locals.
The hotel is not on the beach, but is only a 2 minute walk away. The local restaurants and shops are about 5-10 minutes walk away - left out of the hotel and then left again to the main road. The hotel does have its own mini-mart and surprisingly its prices were invaraibly cheaper!
There are spa treatments on offer although these were not advertised well. That said, for an outstanding massage try Nuang and Chop at NUANG MASSAGE. Nuang is a 78 year old man who can be found just off the main road - 20 metres past the mini-mart and than left down ashort dirt track about 20 metres on. It is well signed.
Also, if you are after affordable and dependable tour and taxi services try the one on the corner opposite the mini-mart. A taxi for 2 to Phuket airport costs BHT800 as opposed to BHT1300-1500 charged by the hotels!
We have not hesitation in recommending the Bhandari to anyone after a hassle-free holiday. We are so glad we chose this area and not the busy Phuket." |

| "The Bhandari is not directly on the beach, but it is, without doubt, the best holiday location we have ever stayed. The cottages were spacious and clean, although book early to guarantee a kingsize bed if you want one.
The staff were expectionally friendly, always had smiles on their faces (despite always appearing to be on duty), and were always on hand to help where possible. They really helped to make the stay extra special.
The hotel itself is about a 5-10 minute walk to the shops and restaurants, although it did have its own mini-mart which invariably undercut prices elsewhere!
We didn't try the spa treatments which weren't well publicised. However, if you want a great Thai massage visit Nuang, a 78 year old man, and his wife Chop. Turn left out of the hotel and left again up to the main road. Turn left past the mini0mart and then left again about 25 metres along the road: NUANG MASSAGE. They are very, very good.
Also, if you are after reliable tours and taxi service to the airport in Phuket, try the operator on the corner opposite the mini-mart. They chanreg BHT800 one way for 2 passengers to the airport, as opposed to to BHT1500 using the hotel.
We have no hesitation in recommending the Bhandari as an idyllic holiday getaway." |
