"False advertising. Their website misrepresents the level of quality we expected. We reserved the most expensive ocean front villa. I would not give it a 3 star rating. In general, Koh Chang is not the place for someone who would like to stay in comfort. It is more like camping then a hotel stay. HOWEVER, the views of the ocean were beautiful, the food decent, the service was poor, the pool was very nice, but the beach was not."

"It's worth knowing that Kacha is almost two resorts in one. The original 'bungalows' on or near the beach & the newer set of rooms and villas next door, set behind the pool area. They're different, but equally appealing in their own way. Should we return - we'd absolutely go for the beachfront bungalows."

"We found that the hotel was great value for money, and had great small touche ie umbrellas and clothes drying facilities outside. We stayed in the deluxe rooms in the new building and were more than satisfied with our seaview room. The breakfast was good but we only stayed for 3 nights. The restaurant served excellent food at reasonable prices. Reception were very helpful and even hailed a local cab to take us back to the pier( also informing us to only pay 50b per person) Would definately stay there again."

"Stayed here quiet off season. Perfect for us as we like to walk along beach for varied meals and the rest of island was a bit too quiet. Hotel food was very good and reasonably priced, resturant was right on beach. Stayed in Deluxe Building 3 storey. Very nice newer larger rooms with private reasonably sized balconies. Be aware stairs only. Hotel has rooms ground floor and bungalows if a prob. Some bungalows are newer than others. The older ones look a bit dark. This beach is called White Sand and is the busiest beach on Ko Chang. Be aware anything south of this hotel on this beach is rock. North of hotel it is lovely. Clean sand though not actually white with calm clean swimming water. Back of hotel you can shop a little if you like or more bars and resturants though the no shoes walk sit, eat and drink on beach was our ultimate. Hotel had good pool with swim up bar right on beach. We considered this property, its rating good value compared to others we stayed at in Phuket,Ko Lanta and Pattaya. "

"I think it is really a good resort and I'd suggest it to people who need a relaxing holiday amid nature...and really is not expensive for all the services they supply. I really enjoyed my staying there!!!"

"A better hotel in white sand beach, but a little distance to the beach (sand area), nice AB and a better bathroom for deluxe villa"

"Good hotel. Staff not always very helpfull. Pool and restaurant good. Would recommend to call the hotel for transport from the ferry to the hotel. It will cost you more but at least it is save. The taxi drivers want 12 people in a Songtaw. Absolute irresponsible. Would come back to the hotel if i would go to Koh Chang again."

"Nice hotel. Very affordable"

"Had a wonderful stay at this hotel last weekend (July 19th) Room size is ok and clean. Location is perfect which is next to the beach. It is also within walking distance to the town area which makes eating and shopping so much easier. Loved the villas which provides complete privacy for couples. The landscape of the garden is beautiful which has so much of greeneries. Breakfast is great. I was surprised to find pomelo here which they provided as one of the fruit items in the breakfast spread. One thing worth mentioning, the hotel also provides umbrellas which come in handy during rainy days. However, the bathroom has cockroach smell which really irritated me. The beach area (next to the swimming pool) has lots of stones also and one needs to be careful to walk on it. The reception has only one person during our check-in so we need to wait for about 20 minutes to be attended to. Nevertheless, my stay here was a memorable one! "

"Nice accommodation. Pool is lovely and overlooks the sea. Close to shops and restaurants too. Good size room - we had a deluxe seaview buidling. Restaurant food is also good. I would recommend this hotel. We went off peak season so prices were reasonable."
