| "Excellent value and certainly worth a three star plus rating. No complaints, efficient service especially at front desk and in making up rooms, and great value food at the restaurant with good selection (BBQ menu has some real bargains). A pity no bathtub in the huge bathrooms of the beachfront bungalows. Pool water appeared a bit murky. Would not take too much effort to upgrade this place to 4 stars, but OK as it is. Consider coming back – but I love to try new places, too…" |

| "This is paradise found for me, im going back again as soon as I can, the beach is superb, warm sea water, the bungalows are quaint in an ideal position, I had a sea view but the garden bungalows are also wonderful set in landscaped gardens, the breakfast is great, plenty of choice." |

| "Womderful resort with the most fantastic staff. We have stayed At paradise on numerous occasions & we are always impressed with the resort & staff. The only thing that I would suggest is they renew the mattresses on the beds as they are quite hard (not comfy really at all) & the airconditioners need servicing more often. otherwise this is a wonderful resort, fantastic location & highly recommended !!

| "Stayed here twice before, this time booked a 'Beach View' Was first offered the last bungalow along the beach - about 150m from the pool. Asked if another was available and was give B1, next to beach and pool for an extra 500THB. Food in hotel was good, there's now a 'plaza' just outside the front gate with a couple of bars and restaurant which are pretty good as well. The location is quiet for relaxing (and sleeping)without disturbance with shops and nightlife a short baht bus ride away.
Sad to say the island is being increasingly 'built up' for tourists and eventually will become another Koh Samuui." |

| "We stayed in this hotel now 2 times and both of the times it was good. The location is great and the rooms are spacious. The staff is most willing to help you (sometimes you have to ask again). For kids it is the best hotel with the pool and beach close together. The food was good enough this time. Has been better. BBQ was not on the weekend we were there and that was very disappointing. Overall we had a great weekend." |

| "We had 7 nights at Paradise. We had booked a superior beachfront room but we upgraded to deluxe beachfront. The other reviews are right. We were just a few steps from the beach. The room was large and was well serviced. The staff are friendly and helpful. The beach is very nice and after being in Pattaya we appreciated the cleanliness of this beach. The hotel is in a good position, there is a supermarket across the road for any supplies needed and there are restaurants across the road and also on the beach.
We ate most nights at Yes restaurant (excellent food and very reasonable prices), but we did venture in to White Sands beach on 2 occasions. The taxi ride there is 50baht per person each way. The hotel also has a small shop and tour agent. We have already recommended this hotel to some friends and we certainly will be back. " |

| "unlike the other hotel "reviewers" who consider a hotel review should include the island as a whole(!) or the snorkeling(!!), i'll stick to the resort itself.
Having stayed/lived in Phuket, Phi Phi and Samui over the years and Now Koh Chang i can highly recommend this hotel.
The rooms were lovely, roomy, clean and exactly what they should be.
The price is good or even quite cheap for a resort of this calibre.
The staff were friendly but not overbearing, the location is central but not right in the middle of the crowds/noise, and the rooms were right on the beach (25 steps from door to the water's edge mid tide).
also, for some reason the breakfast is one of the most important thing to many reviewers!!!
personally the breakfast was consitantly great, varied, fresh and tasty which we saw purely as a bonus, not a necessity. (honestly, if you want great breakfasts go to paris etc. i come to Thailand for the people, food, beaches and diving)
i'd recommend Paradise Resort to friends and your good self without hesitation.
ps. been home a week, miss the red shrimp curry already." |

| "We enjoyed our stay very much. The location is just perfect, the staff friendly and attentive. The restaurant is probably the best in the area. We didn't see a better place on the island." |

| "The island is similar to the Phukets and Koh Samui's of this world 20 odd years ago with accomodation equivalent to this. Consequently, do not expect 4/5 star western-style luxury at this resort. Instead you can expect a very comfortable resort, great location albeit on the quiet side, beautiful landscaped grounds and absolute peace and quiet. As noted in other comments there is huge room for improvement in the breakfast buffet and the food served for lunch and dinner is okay but nothing to write home about. However, there are other good restaurants within walking or a short taxi ride distance where you can get very good meals at a very good price. Try YES just across the road from the hotel or the Ka-Ti restaurant in Klong Prao village. A meal at these places will set you back no more than GBP 5.00 per head. Koh Chang is a beautiful island which will undoubtedly go the same way as other Thai island resorts so go there sooner rather than later. There is already a Dusit scheduled to open in the autumn and other large chains will undoubtedly open there soon, so now is the time to visit." |
