"Absolutely stunning place. Beautiful, secluded, romantic, great help on planning daily outings (though you wouldn't need to- you could have a great time just relaxing at the resort!) I would recommend this place to anybody, but I highly recommend it to couples. Moonlight Bay is the perfect honeymoon location, and they even have a photo album of all the weddings that have taken place at their resort. It's really lovely, and a paradise worth visiting with someone you love. "

"The resort itself was o.k. but the location was pretty poor. The resort sits in the south west of Koh Lanta. If you want a get away from it all then this is for you with nothing to do but lounge around the pool or beach - the resort has its own beach which is not the best. The "long" beach about 15 minutes walking distance up the road is much better. There is a small village about the same distance. Most of the accommodation on Koh Lanta is resort based. The food is not the best - a bit watered down to cater for the western pallet but if you fancy proper thai food then head into the village."

"This hotel was fantastic, this was down to the staff you could not wish for nicer people. Ken was really nice and friendly, the restaurant & bar staff always had a smile for you and were great. The river view rooms were clean & functional but nothing special, the food was great the best spring rolls I have ever had. The spa & pool area were great. The beach was ok but was very rocky. The bar terrace was great to watch the sunset and chill out at night of the cushions. This resort is a no no for people with walking difficulties. I would highly recommend this hotel anyone after a friendly, quiet holiday."

"Very helpful and very friendly service, great food and massages - only the beach was not as expected: there were stones very closed to the beach and it was not easy to go swimming."

Comments:

We stayed in thailand for 17 days in 6 different types of hotels for our honeymoon. This hotel was our last choice and most expensive!we booked it cause of great reviews on this site and we were very disappointed of this hotel.we booked beach front villa with jacuzzi. The villa was very old, smells badly. The jacuzzi hadnt hot water so we couldnt use it!the hotel is in the middle of nowhere!!!you couldnt even walk anywhere.the beach is with big rocks so you couldnt even bath.so there is nothing to do in this hotel!the worst was the brekfast and restaurant. Everywhere even in very less prices hotels we had huge buffet brekfast.here no.you have to order!so you have to wait for ages for your brakfast and you have just one choice.horrible. the restaurant is so slow and its just one there so you dont have a choice.we paid 5000THB per night and there were no minibar,no roomservice! we rented a motorbike and found so nice beach with many hotels and bars and you could bath there.there were a lot of restaurants much more cheaper than in our hotel and a lot of cheaper nicer hotels.but we always had to get at night back to the middle of nowhere-moonlight bay resort!i wouldnt recommend this hotel to anybody maybe to seniors who dont like to bath at the sea.
