Rocky Resort, Koh Samui Island

"My girlfriend and I stayed at Rocky resort for two nights and it was fantastic. Being 5 minutes away from Lamia made the trip into town easy (they had a free shuttle bus to take you there and pick you up in the daytime). Because of it's location you can't walk anywhere and need to rely upon the shuttle bus or taxis. The room, very modern, large and clean. The decor is similar to the rooms at the Metropolitan in Bangkok. The food in the restaurant is excellent and won an award in 2007. Service is top class, they couldn't do enough to help us. They had free internet access at reception wich was a nice touch and it didn't appear to get abused by the guest. We would stay here again but because we didn't like Koh Samui we would probably only stay for a short time. "

"we had a wonderful time. all the staff are extremely professional, friendly and go out of their way to help. the only thing i could add to my comments would be to perhaps add some hooks in the bathroom to hang damp towels, etc. a pull out clothes airer would be helpful as well, our veranda was not covered and we could not leave our things out to dry. the last thing, perhaps have a variety of pillow thicknesses as i was unable to use the ones on the bed as they hurt my neck, my friend who also stayed had the same problem. as side from these small things it was wonderful. thank you "

"After 5 previous trips to Koh Samui we decided to stay at Rocky's this time and are so glad we did. The place is so beautifully set out with a fantastic peaceful atmosphere, lush gardens, superb rooms, great food and very well trained staff. Even the owner came to meet us at our table for a chat which was good to see. It looks just like the photos on the website. The garden pool up the back is a great option if the beach front pool is busy with kids too. We will definitely come back again next time. Highly recommended."

"Rocky was lovely. We were there for a friend's wedding that was held at the resort. The staff were lovely and friendly. The day was beautiful and the people at Rocky did all they could to make her day very special."
