"from 5 hotels we visited in three weeks, this was the most expensive and the worst one, no friendly service, restaurant: not good an too expensive for the region, spa: 5 times higher price than outside in front of the hotel, at the beach you`ll have the "mallorca- feeling". It is a hotel which will be upper class, but cannot bring this service."

"We absolutely loved the Pavilion! It's a beautiful hotel directly on the beach. Friendly staff, good service. We stayed in a hydro pool villa, it was great to have our own pool! Lamai is not that much fun though. Not much to see, not many shops, but a lot of bars with thai girls and foreign men..."

"Location is great, situated on a lovely beach and at one end of the main strip of Lamai, so pubs, restaurants etc on your doorstep. It's quiet if you want it to be that way, or you can hit the strip or beach clubs/pubs for a night out. Buffet breakfast was good. Service and staff were excellent, facitlites were great and gardens have that lovely tropical feel. We can definitely recommend the spa villas for the luxury of your own private plunge pool. Good mix of families, young couples staying there, very nice atmosphere. Only complaint would be that we struggled to get hot water in the shower - only 2 of about 5 showers we had during our stay were hot. Having said that, we didn't complain about it (I can't remember why!) so we can't winge that it didn't get fixed. Overall excellent, would definitely return."

"We had an extremely pleasant holiday at the Pavilion Hotel and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone. The staff were all very helpful and all the facilities were above average.The breakfast buffet was very good and the evening meals were superb."

"Absolutely Awesome!!! Made the reservation online by looking at the pictures, information, and reviews. Room was upgraded from a Superior Spa to a Spa Junior Suite when I arrived at no additional cost. It was a little cold to use the outdoor unheated spa in front of the entrance to the room, but that was due to the weather. The restaurant staff was incredible and the food was awesome, ate there every morning and night! The staff was extremely helpful and also arranged day tours for our group of four. Try out the massage spa, not the cheapest, but definitely the nicest! Highly recommend this beautiful hotel, I will definitely stay at this location when I retrun to Koh Samui for another vacation! "
