Very close to beach and nightlife. We could hear the night club across the road all night long so I wouldn't stay here if you plan to get any sleep. Very cheap though guess you get what you pay for.

| "Al's Hut was in a fantastic location, right on the beach with easy access to the beach and main road. The location of the place would have to be the best thing about stying at Al's Hut as it is so close to everything, right in the middle of Chaweng Beach. The bathroom is a little small, and the shower was a bit hard to work but it has all the basics you need such as a shower, toilet and basin. Beds are comfortable but I would make sure you get a room with air con as the huts do get hot. Room was always nice and clean and staff are friendly. Might not be good for families as you can hear the music right into the small hours but if you come here for the nightlife I totally recommend this hotel and going to the Ark Bar which is only 2 doors down on the beach. GREAT PARTY!! There's not much in terms of 'facilities', such as a pool etc, but, the food is good at the restaurant and who would want a pool when the beach is right there, highly recommend hiring lilos which are available along the beach to float on in the water, best fun! Privacy is big here where everybody gets a private bungalow and none of them are really right on the beach so it doesn't really matter which one you get. You can also go a whole day without seeing you neighbours so you are able to have your own space here. Shopping is fantastic here, don't bother going to Bangkok or Phuket to shop, they have everything here, it is cheaper than the other places and you can browse to your hearts desire without getting haggled! " |
