| "We really enjoyed our stay at Coconut Villa. It is a new hotel so it is expected that it'll be quiet but we like it that way. We also like the fact that it is not too close to the bars and other night life. We think the pool running adjacent to the rooms is a fantastic concept. We suggest, though, that the deck chairs be replaced with sun beds. The service is excellent. We hope that this will continue. We contemplated taking the villa but there is not really a great difference in space in fact we thought that the rooms with pool view are much better as you can jump into the pool directly from your verandah. Definitely value for money. Excellent breakfast!
We noted that when we arrived at the villa at 11pm that they were not expecting us. We do not know if they didn't receive the confirmation from AsiaRooms or if there was an internal misunderstanding. Perhaps, this is something which can be improved.
We are looking forward to staying at the Coconut Villa again next year." |

| "I really enjoyed staying at Coconut Villa (deluxe sea view villa - actually you can see sea only from bathroom). Very polite and friendly staff, beautiful room and pools. But one big disadvantage - you can't swim in the sea. You can just only walk, even 20-30 meters, and the water level will be at your knees. 40 meters -that's the limit, because then begins coral line. There is few islands not far from our beach. You can sail there by boat for 1200 baht. Beautiful islands with pure white sand and clear water. Perfect for taking sunbath and relaxation.
Also there is no any restaraunts nearby. You can rent a motorbike or car and go to Lamai beach or Chaweng. There's a lot of restaraunts.
The Coconut Villa is perfect for couples or honeymooners." |

| "The hotel is in a beautiful quiet location with a superb beach views and sea breezes.Would suit a relaxing get away from it all holiday for adults. The location means that it is a fairish walk to the nearest restaurant in Thong Krut and a long way from shopping. If you want to see the rest of the island you would need to hire a bike /car as taxis are expensive. However the food at the hotel is excellent(hotel prices )breakfast was freshly cooked ,the best we had had on our 3 week Thai tour. The staff are extremely attentive, friendly and polite.
Our room which overlooked the long 70m pool (great for a swim on rising!)was clean ,fresh and well furnished .If I had had small children with me I would be anxious about the water right outside the bedroom window.
As the hotel was undergoing renovation when we stayed the spa and main entrance were not open, these will add to the ambience and facilities .In fact a few more guests would have added to the atmosphere!
Overall as we were looking for a relaxing stay the hotel ideally suited our needs and Richard and his staff worked very hard to make us feel welcome.I would stay again." |
