Quite noisey due to the proximity to the airport. However after travelling for almosr 24hours, Nara was in the ideal location for me to get off the plane, have a good nights sleep the carry on with my journey to Koh Tao the next morning. The pier from which the boats leave to go to Koh Tao and Koh Pagnan is approximately a 5 min walk away. The room was clean and the staff very friendly and helpfull.

| "The write-up description about this hotel is way OTT. If you want a very basic and dated stay near the airport - as literally a crash pad for one night, then this is probably ok. The rooms are old and musty and bathroom is like something out of the 70's. You can get much better value and nicer rooms on the Island (for around the same price).
The location of this hotel is also somewhat misleading. It is not in the bo phut area; its very close to the Big Buddah. The fishermans village near bo phut beach is around a 5-10 taxi ride away (40-45 min walk).

| "Our one night stay was very pleasant. The beach was not very attractive but the hotel staff were keen to please. The noise of the planes from the airport was not continuous and we found the hotel very comfortable... thank you" |

| "You get what you pay for. The rooms are spacious and the service is very nice. It is very close to the airport and pier, so there is nothing to see and no beaches to play in. Forget the hotel's restaurant, but do go across the road for great Thai food at low prices. All in all, The Nara Garden Beach is great for a one night stay before you move on.

| "The hotel was reasonably clean, close to the airport and staff quite helpful. However it was a bit like a 70s style cross roads. The pool is in need of repair with cracked tiles, the rooms are very 70s and the furniture is past its best. It's quite gloomy and depressing. At breakfast there were a number of unsavoury characters ( guests) who were talking about thier nocturnal activities there, so not recommended for children. Overall we wouldn't go there again as it was quite a bleak and depressing place." |

| "Last year it was noisy from the planes than you felt you could reach out and grab from the tree level. Although it is in Bang Rak, a small, but developing little area close by the airport.
The resort is on the western side and the beach isn't the best or cleanest, and the traffic out on the street was terrible, at 16-18hrs. Go for budget travelers." |
