Would I stay at this location
again:

Absolutely!
We had a great time at this resort and would strongly recommend to book a beachview bungalow, Bungalow number 1 was perfect, or a gardenview bungalow, depending on your demand and budget. Also the other rooms are nice and clean but they don`t have this view. We like it because of the peaceful and clean place, excellent view, we`ve never seen before such a sunset, very well service, friendly personal and nice atmosphere. This resort is in privat hands an the owner and his family was always there and taking care of a perfect service. They also offer a Catamaran and two Kajaks which can be used by the guests of the resort. The next village Nathon is about 10 min. by car and a nice place to go for shopping, having lunch or dinner and not fullfilled with too many shops like in Chaweng or Lamai. Itīs about 45 min. far away from the airport which is good because you`ll not hear and see the planes at the beach like at some other places of Koh Samui. Again, we would stay at this resort again!! happy holidays

"Rajapruek is ideal for a quiet, relaxing holiday in a beautiful location. Lovely beach, great sunsets! It's a family run resort and the family and staff take pride in ensuring guests are made welcome and comfortable. There are a few restaurants nearby but the food at Rajapruek is just as good. We'll certainly return. "

"If I start by saying I didn't want to leave the hotel it gives you an idea of how I judge this hotel. After travelling the length of Thailand we were ready for some rest and relaxation and we certainly got it. You are right on a very quiet beach, where we spent hours beach combing, which is shallow for a long way out, so safe for children. You also have free use of a variety of water vessels, we took the kayak out, but there is also a sailing vessel. The staff couldn't be more helpful or friendly and the place is kept scrupiously clean. We stayed in a standard room, but there was plenty of space and it was very comfortable. As we went out of season, there was little to do after 10pm, but that suited us. It is only about a 10min taxi ride to night life if you want it. I am planning on adding a stopover here next April as a rate it so highly."

"The trip from the airport should have told me something- it took so long and the resort seemed to be in the middle of nowhere. Eventually arrived after about an hour. The first sighting is disappointing as the building looks dated. Once inside the grounds the first swimming pool is striking and definitely needed on such warm days in July. The second pool is also tantalising as is the magnificant view you have over the ocean and the islands. The room is large with an ensuite but the TV service is questionable as mine did not work properly. Admittedly the staff gave me another room. (They waited outside while I packed but seemed in a real hurry and acted like it was an inconvenience for them) but the TV was still very basic and still had no foxtel service. The resort is only 10-15 minutes from the Capital City where you can do some decent bartering. The city is not very big. The resort is not far from the major wharf where ferries take you to the National Marine Park which is spectacular. As the resort is nowhere near any shops etc you would think that there would be a free transport service offered but there is none. You have to ask reception to book a taxi which does come within 15 minutes but still costs you money (although cheap). Having spoken to other travellers staying elsewhere- their resort offered free transport at least on the return trip to the airport. This resort does not. The prices charged are quite expensive compared to other places in which I stayed in Thailand. They have a captive audience e.g. Internet= 80 baht for 30 minutes which was slow to connect and the general staff did not know how to connect. The meals and drinks were also pricey compared to other places. The resort staff were not very friendly as I had encountered at other places and did not wish to talk. A lovely setting over the sea but too far from everywhere. "

"I spent 5 great nights at this hotel and we both loved it. The food was good the staff happy and helpful and the beachside bungalow ( Sunset ) was so nice as it was right on the beach with the best views from the windows. If your looking for a quite and relaxed hotel away from the main tourist locations this is for you. I will be back for sure. Glenn & Sumantha."
