"This hotel was lovely, with a fantastic view over Chewang. If you want to stay in this hotel just be aware that it is located away from shops and only have a few places to eat nearby which includes walking on a very busy road, so be careful. My main dissapointment was the fitness suite. It was advertised and as a fitness suite and weights room, however what it turned out to be was some machinery, of which only the very old and dirty running machine was electric, some equipment made about a century ago and 2 dunbells. On top of this only a fan and no air conditioning - very poor! Apart from this the hotel as a whole is very nice and the staff really helpful. "

"This hotel has impressive architectural design and 2 great size pool and plenty of garden to wander around . The rooms are are not bad ,although the air-conditioner was dripping water, but it was readily rectified. Like some Thai beach resorts , the staff lacks quality customer service training and thus appears either shy or timid. Otherwise, for the money paid this hotel is value for money. My only minor complain was the rooms are bit too dim, I suppose the romantic couple would like this. "

"Nice hotel, but a little tired. The Manager and staff were very helpful. Very good restaurants immediately over the road from the hotel and the food was excellent in all of them"

"We stayed 3 nights in the Thai Village and it was a good experience. The hotel is located 4 minutes walking from the main road to Krabi, so, you can get a little bit more peace than if you are in the main road. The staff is very gentle and helpful. The room is very big and pretty new. I only have to remark that the toilet is not in a closed room so you have not very much privacy and if you don't connect the AC, the environment is a little bit humit. There is a big swimming pool in the center of the hotel with a bar service in the middle. The breakfast is good and with a variety of choice. In the lobby there is a big rest rooms including a shower, that is nice if you already checked out and you need to refresh. I would recommend the hotel and probably would try it again if return to Krabi."

Me and my wife were on honeymoon in Thailand and this is the first hotel out of 4 hotels that went the extra mile to make it special for us. We did the usual and asked at reception for an upgrade, they didn't move us to a better room as we were allready in a great room, but they decorated the room. It was a fantastic surprise to come back to, they also gave us a cake and a bowl of fruit. The staff were brilliant, allways very helpfull and polite, there level of English was good. The facilities were top drawer the the whole hotel was a beautiful place. The pool bar was a great place to relax after the days excursions, however don't bother ordering the cocktails as they make them taste great, but they are very weak. The complex itself is about 5 to 10 mins walk away from the two beaches (napperat Tharra being closer) I think that this was perfect apart from having to walk past the Indian restaurent every night, and tell the manager that we didn't want to eat there became slightly tiresome (you get the same everywhere). There are some great places to eat within 5 mins walk from the resort, and when we go back to Kabi we will stay here every time. The breakfast is good even slightly better then we got in other resorts, the bacon oh the bacon sooo nice, very good variety something for everyone.
