"This was the worst hotel we have stayed in Thailand. We got a Signature Deluxe room and it was a huge disappointment. I at first believed they´d put us into a Standard room because it did not look like a superior class room. For the same price in other places we have had fantastic accommodation. The room was in need of redecoration, the bin was dirty with old encrusted trash (there was no plastic bag in the bin. There was no hairdrier. The bathroom was old and with cracked tiles and very bad water supply, freezing, then boiling. There was a small balcony with two plastic patio chairs that were filthy - all mould and dirt - you could not sit on them. In the room there was no book listing the services of the hotel so I rang reception to find our how to get an outside line - first she could not understand me (which is forgiveable), then when she did understand me she very crankily snapped the answer "Dial 1!!" and slammed down the phone.
The hotel offers WIFI in some rooms and internet stations in the lobby area so we bought the credit to use it. When it did not work, either the WIFI or the normal computers, another receptionist told us that the internet connection had not been working for the last 2 days!! Then why did the first receptionist sell us the credit and explain how to use it!! We mentioned this to the head receptionist and she wasn´t really interested.
We had a meal and there were only 2 other people eating in the restaurant, but still we managed to be served badly. The waitress just stayed near the kitchen chatting to the kitchen staff and any time we needed anything I had to get up and find her. More like a self service restaurant. The food was ok though, but expensive.
The hotel has an agreement with local taxi drivers to charge 50 bhats per person to go to Krabi town, and this is overpriced because it´s not even a 5 minute drive.
My impression of this hotel is faded granduer, because it´s big and impressive when you pull up to it. I believe it´s badly managed. It was very empty when we stayed there in late May. It looks like a good hotel it´s gotten old and is slowly going to ruin through lack of care and bad management.
Do not stay here. It´s overpriced and had bad rooms and bad service."

"I'm sure 5 years ago this hotel had it's hayday but those days are well and truley over. The room we stayed in was very small compared to other hotels in Thailand for similar price and less and the staff were very poker faced. The hotel is huge and was probably less than a quarter full judging by the number of people I saw which could account for it's demise. It was off peak but the pool bar was closed and we gave up on the bar inside as after 5 minutes no sign of anyone to serve us. Breakfast was however very nice. The pool is the biggest I have ever seen, unfortunatley all the waterfall features were turned off and it was a little dirty and the slide appeared to be broken. We only stayed one night as a stop over before flying back to Bangkok and for that it was OK. Maybe in the peak season it's more alive."

"Very nice Hotel with full facilities to use for free of charge. Big and clean room with nice view. The Hotel was located in town area, have to take 30 mins to the beach area and 15 mins to the nearest shopping mall. Not suitable for those who wish to enjoy the beach and night life in Krabi."

"The hotel indeed has great park view, very beautiful, we like to stay again. But the travel agency which cooperates with the hotel offered high car rate from hotel to airport, they provied tour did not valuable as they said, i.e.: James Bone discovery - one hour elephant track, actually 20 minutes, and they rejected fund. I strongly feel the trave agency will effect this hotel's business.
Best regards,
Hui-Chi, Lee"

Comments: We stayed two nights as a transfer hotel between Bangkok and Ko Lanta as the trip from Krabi Airport to Lanta island is a long one of about 2 hours. The hotel is conveniently located only 20 minutes from Krabi Int. Airport. The resort has a nice infrastructure with a large pool and beautiful lagoon. The room are fairly large. The service in the hotel was friendly and the English level of the staff good.
