| "There are some bad and good points about this place.
Good points being that it's so cheap and affordable. The thai food at the restaurant/room service food is amazingly delicious and so cheap.
The pool is always so nice and clean and has a pool bar in the middle with cocktails at very affordable prices. Another good thing about this place was that it was clean. They have a tourism office downstairs for easy booking of tours you might want to go on. There's a huge variety.
Bad points being that there was just tooo many mosquitoes there. i was constantly being bitten. word of caution. be sure to turn up the air condition in your room to keep pesky pests away from you at night. they will only come out when it's hot and humid in the room. Another bad point was that the staff spoke very little english except for one lady. It was hard to communicate with them and ask for things.
I think overall it's quite an ok place to stay at. If the mosquitoes didn't live there, i think i would of gave this hotel a much higher rating! If you're not prone to mozzie bites then this place is really quite affordable." |

| "The employees at reception (especially the ones of the early day shift when we stayed there) were very kind, friendly and helpful during that one week's stay in one of the deluxe rooms at the end of February 2008. However the quality of service did not meet the standard which can be expected at a resort of that category. There is a lack of attention to the detail: one day there were no handtowels, the other day a bathtowel was missing (it took two calls at front desk within 90 minutes until somebody brought the towels), some other day the bath tub wasn't cleaned or a stained bedsheet not changed. We are still waiting for an answer of the management to our complaint concerning the massively overpriced internet access rates (the resort was choosen by us especially because of the WiFi-Access to the internet in the rooms)!
The internet access is offered via a provider (www.kirz.com) by far too expensive (overpriced) rates. It doesn't matter whether the internet-stations in the lobby and near the pool bar or the WiFi-Access in the rooms is used. The following rates did apply in February 2008 when we were staying there:
30 min THB 100.00 valid 7 days
60 min THB 180.00 valid 7 days
01 day THB 500.00 valid 1 day
07 days THB 1'800.00 valid 7 days
All the public Internet-Cafés along Beach Road are much cheaper though, at rates of "only" THB 60.00 / Hour. Usually they charge by the minute.

| "For the romm prices they have, I have had many better hotels in Asia. The Pictures of the Hotel in the Internet are looking nice, but in real the Hotel is much older. The fitness room is a joke !" |

| "beautiful room and it is big and clean, near to ao nang beach as well as shopping area. great view of the poolside as well however the breakfast is rather boring as they serve same type of food daily and not much variety. but overall, this hotel is really good!! thumbs up and i will definitely stay in this hotel again! " |

| "Nice rooms, spacious. The pool is nice and big too. The breakfast was ok. The location is nice coz it's 5 minutes walk away from the main Ao nang beach. Well worth it." |

| "We stayed in a Pool deluxe B room - wow! It was amazing. Huge room and bathroom and lovely decor. Always clean and tidy by the time we got back.
Location was good as slightly away from the main bustle of Ao Nang night life but still in very easy walking distance of beaches, restaurants, shops etc.
Hotel staff were excellent - they booked any tours we wanted to go on, taxi's etc. and let us use a room to get showered in on last day before airport. Very helpful and like all Thai people, always smiling!
We could not fault our stay at all. Food was great, pool was lovely and service excellent.

| "First time in Krabi, so we wanted to try out a good hotel. rooms are fine, the choice of food for the buffet breakfast a bit limited for a hotel claiming the luxury status the Krabi La Playa does. The swimming pools are great (though the big one weas without water when we arrived). While the room and bathroom were generally fine, the water supply in the bath room was dangerous. The mix of hot and cold water could not be properly made, resulting in occasionally a cold shower (no real problem, but sometimes only steaming hot water. And that is bad. " |

| "Had a pleasant trip. The room was huge and we had a poolside bedroom which was fantastic. The bathroom was huge and clean. It really feels like a resort with the balcony and access to the pool as and when you like it with a personal jacuzzi. But the bigger pool was still under renovation. Breakfast sucks and we gave it a miss after the first day. One thing to mention, the front desk was rude when i checked in and love to stare at you angrily when she is in shift, haha. But other than this, the room service was prompt and people are friendly. Definately worth the price." |
