This hotel claims to be a 4 star but struggles to deliver.
The general appearance is quite good but it's once you look a bit closer that you see this hotel is actually a bit tired. nasty cracks in the flooring around the pool, windows that had fallen out and not been replaced as well as poor lighting in the complex at night.
The room was a nice size, well decorated and very comfortable. However, the air coniditoning was very noisy, the soundproofing from other rooms was poor, the drains stank (in the room) and their wasn't enough drawers or storage for clothes.
The food was of a good quality and well priced when compared to the restaurants in town. Which is a bit of a relief as it is a good 10 minute walk into Ao Nang (beach). Although taxi's are reasonably priced.
So, not a bad hotel but not a great one either. I Doubt if we will stay here again when we go back to Thailand.

| "Though the hotel was located a bit off the main road, we had a wonderful time at Thai Village.
The hotel had a traditional thai theme. The room is ok but i personally i would prefer a more contemporary setting.
The service was fine and it was great to know that the hotel actually did something extra for us. We were surprised with a honeymoon cake upon arrival.
We stayed during the 'low season' as such, we had a considerably good room rate. If the rates are reasonable I do not mind staying at Thai Village again.

| "We stayed in the thai village hotel for 2 nights. The thai style room is quite good, and we enjoyed the pool and pool bar very much. The staff is also very friendly. Though the location of this resort is not so close to the beach, we still recommended this hotel. " |

| "2nd time we've stayed at the Krabi Thai Village Resort - this time with our 4 year old. Perfect place for families with children. Great breakfast, very friendly staff and with walking distance to a few great restaurants. " |

| "From the moment we arrived at the Krabi Thai Village Hotel we were delighted with the friendliness and helpfulness of all the hotel staff. The little personal touches were nice.
The Hotel has first class facilities and affords luxuries all round.
The only criticism I would have is for them to promote the a la carte restaurant more as it didn't seem to be used very often.
The location of the hotel is excellent, just off the beaten track but only a short walk to the main street in Ao Nang.
Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending the hotel." |
