The town of Krabi is very close to the river mouth that opens to the great Andaman
Sea. River Krabi river flows about 5 km through the town and opens into the Andaman
sea at Tambon Pak Nam. The weather of Krabi, in southern Thailand is very pleasant
when a rain shower cools of the heat and the moisture in the air. It is the friendly
staff of the resort accompanied with the superb room services which makes the
Tipa resort one of the most popular tourist resorts and a perfect holiday location.
Open all year round, the green, warm and inviting Tipa Resort renders excellent
room services and other facilities. The hotel houses 21 Bungalow rooms, 54 Superior
rooms and 12 deluxe rooms thereby totaling to 87 rooms in all. The rooms on
the ground floor are specially adapted for Handicapped guests. From these rooms
the ocean views of Ao Nang and the natural surroundings of the hotel can be
enjoyed.
Every room in Tipa resort has a modern style private bathroom, air-conditioner
and contemporary furnishings including a large balcony which is perfect for
relaxing. The 21 bungalows are appropriately situated in the quiet garden setting
with large balcony and garden views. All the bungalows are constructed from
natural wood and have attached toilet. The rooms for the disabled are provided
with wheelchair ramp. In this resort there are no lifts.
The variety of room facilities at the Tipa Resort in Karbi includes individually
controlled air-conditioning system, cable TV, mini refrigerator, over night
laundry service and on and on goes the list. The bathrooms are provided with
bathtubs in deluxe rooms only and hairdryers are also available on request.
On special request and obviously if you require you can also get a pair of sandals.
The resort also provides you with umbrellas in case you have to protect yourself
from rain.
