Perfect for honeymooners and couples seeking total relaxation. Tubkaek is situated on a beach that contains vey few other resorts (4-5, I think). The beach itself is superb, although when the tide comes in it is not possible to walk along it.
The resort is beautiful and you do almost feel at times like you are the only people there.
We only stayed at Tubkaek for 4 nights, which we felt was perfect, because there is very little to do and we like to try different bars/restaurants etc.
The restaurant here is superb, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal times there.
We walked over to the Amari Vouge which is about 2 minutes walk away for a meal. This resort looked beautiful also, though I would say it looked a diferent type of experience to Tubkaek. At Tubkaek we felt we had a lot of privacy, especially in the outdoor bath. The Amari looked pretty much to be like a hotel, with private balconies.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Tubkaek, and would recommend it to anyone that is seeking a few days of total tranquility.

| "I booked thru asiarooms for our honeymoon celebration 3 days/ 2 nights last OCT 2008. Wonderful! this is a perfect getaway for all couples. I have been to many countries and many resorts around Asia, Europe and USA... none can compare to Tubkaak in terms of service and experience.
I booked via AsiaRooms, and the hotel gave us the same Bhat 600 per person voucher (per day). Which was used as credit to enjoy dinner / massage! Wow!
All i can say is that this is one of the best, must-go place in Asia for a relaxing vacation.
The General Manager is such a sweet lady , and the service is so personalized. They really look after you and ensure you walk away with a memorable experience in Tubkaak! It is amazing!!! I will surely go back one day." |

| "This resort is top shelf.
The food is very good/excellent, service is outstanding and the views are spectacular.
The Tubkaak is remote, however so it is not easy to get around to different venues, resturants, etc.
But if seclusion in a high end couples orientated resort is your thing, then this is it.
Asia Rooms has great pricing on this resort and is about one half of the published rack rate, inclusive of breakfast.
When booking w/ Asia Rooms the resort also extends a credit of 600 baht per person, per day that will be deducted from your invoice at the end of your stay.

| "-Nice and quiet pool, great food and fantastic room
-Perfect if you want to isolate yourself form the world because it's 1/2hour away from town, there is pretty much nowhere to eat/shop at walking distance range
-The beach gives a nice view but it is no good for swimmimg
-We received nice surprises like a credit of 1200bahts for the two of us to spend on food, DVDs to borrow" |
