| ""Tup Kaek Sunset Beach Resort" is located in the most paradisiac beach I have ever been before. Being there feels like having a dream, it's not real... And what is just great in this hotel is that the wood bungalows are perfectly integrated in the green landscape. It has a very nice spa, but not the cheaper one. It's clean, the swimming pool is ok. The staff is nice, but has a bit of difficulty in communicating in english. The breakfast is weak. Overall, I absolutelly recommend it!! " |

| "Tupkaek Resort was truly an amazing and most enjoyable holiday. The staff and owners were just superb. Sharing Songkran Festival and Party with them was most enjoyable. They are so attentive, caring and beautiful people and their service was of the highest and most personal level. Being a small boutique style resort, the dedication and service we received was outstanding.
We travel near and far in many countries and attend numerous corporate global functions in business, and I would honestly rate this place as:
The best kept secret in the most secret place in the world. If you want your own private beach, staying on the waters edge and watching the daily beauty of every sunset, all set in a tropical idealic jungle overlooking the islands of the Andaman Sea: then look no further than Tupkaek.
Truly memorable and enjoyable." |

| "Overall, I was quite disappointed in our stay. The hotel is very isolated. This is great in terms of relaxing, however, not so great when you want to buy some bottled water or eat. There is MAJOR construction being done at the resort. It is difficult relaxing on the beach while listening to drills and nail guns at the same time. The food was just 'OK' and the ambience in the restaurant was quite poor. The staff at the restaurant were very nice and helpful and personable, though. There is better food at the hotel next door (but is more expensive). Ironically, we saw the other hotel occupants there nightly. We signed up for one of the full day kayak tours through the hotel. The tour ended up being only 3 hours long because of a low tide and "lunch" consisted of pineapple and watermelon. We were still charged a full day excursion by the hotel even though it was a half day. The kayaking was unbelievable but we still felt like we were price gauged. That was the overall feeling of Tup Kaek Sunset beach resort - we felt like we were being taken advantage of (there are more examples, just not enough time/room to describe). The room was relatively clean except for the musty bathroom smell and continuous ant trail on the wall in the vanity area. We had been looking very forward to our stay. We were quite disappointed... Definitely would not stay there again." |

| "My family and I booked this hotel on the recommendation shown on the Asiarooms site we were bitterly disappointed. After a long journey arriving at 7.45pm we were looking for comfortable accommodation a shower, something to eat and drink and a good nights sleep. Our first shock was route the taxi had to take to arrive at the hotel, a road barely passable for cars, a drive through what appeared to be piles of stone like a quarry then through a building site to arrive at the resort which was protected from the sights by garden netting. On arrival we found the receptionist spoke very little English and it took a while for her to understand our requests, the girl had no support except a security person on the gate. We asked to the view the accommodation when we found it at the end of an unlit path we were extremely disappointed with the standard and the heavy smell of a room that had been closed up for some time, in addition it should have been a sea view which we paid extra for because there was no garden view, and we were some three rows back from the beach with a limited sea view. We then asked the receptionist if we could get food and drink; we were told there was no food or drink until breakfast the next morning (It was now 8pm ??). We asked to talk to the manager and the only response we got was a change in room to the Sea View room we had booked, but no food or any suggestion of how or where we could get food. The Manager refused to speak to us face to face but insisted on using the phone which had loud disco music in the background. I could go on in more detail but feel it would serve no purpose. Extremely poor service and the appalling attitude of the manager make this the worst Resort in which we have stayed in the region, and we have stayed in a lot and far cheaper. We gave up and asked the Taxi driver to take us to a good hotel where we could get food, drink and a night’s sleep. Until now we have had good service from Asiarooms but this has lowered their standard. I feel the Resort should be removed from the Asiarooms site to ensure they have no association with such a poor standards. " |

| "My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed Tup Kaek. We were able to relax completely and get away from the hustle and bustle. The location on Sunset Beach is absolutely gorgeous. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Every staff member went out of his/her way to make us feel welcome-we felt thoroughly spoiled by all the attention we got. We were delighted that there was so much greenery on the property-looking at the resort from the water, you would not know there was a resort in behind all the vegetation. Though the bungalows are small, we did not feel at all cramped and we had everything we needed. The porch was great for taking in the beautiful sunsets. We were so sad to go and hope to return to Tup Kaek next year during our vacation." |
