Comments:

This is the second time we have stayed at Sunshine Gardens. It looks a bit tired in places, but the rooms and bathrooms are generally excellent. The location of the room is something to check. On the first night we had a ground floor room with no bath tub, although the hotel knew we were travelling with a baby. It was very hard to wash him with just a fixed head shower. Also the terrace of this room looked straight onto a perimeter wall about a metre away and passers by could look over from the soi straight into our room. From the second night we had a room overlooking the gardens which was much better. Breakfast is excellent with a large choice. The food in the restaurant is good, but the menu limited. Staff are pleasant and helpful except those at the poolside bar. When I move to Thailand next year we shall be making several trips a year to Pattaya as a base for my visa runs and I see no reason not to stay at Sunshine Gardens each time.
