| "I order a tripel room for my younger son .but they got only sengl room for two bed , it means that i pay more for what i got. That is big problems with transportation to the city, and back again to the hotel. the mine bus ordning will be a good idear , because alle taxi has diffrent price.

| "If you stay in Pattaya area this is a very quiet good place. 40 bath to the city with pick up taxi if you want to go there. I have never stayed in hotel in that class for that small money!!!!!" |

| "We had deluxe room in Marina Tower. Room was big, and moderately comfortable & clean. Some buildings & facilities were closed, but most were open to guests. There's pools, cafes, restaurants, sport facilities, disco & shops in the hotel area. Staff is friendly. Big minus is location. It's very far from the city and taxi costs 300 bahts one way. Buses and tuk-tuks run during daytime and it's cheap, but it's still a long run to city. Also sunbeds in both pool & beach area are very limited. Services in hotel area are somewhat overpriced. It's good choice if you want to be out of Pattaya's noise and stay within hotel area. But if you don't want spend too much time in hotel you really should stay somewhere closer to Pattaya." |

| "booked and paid for king bed,but the hotel gave out two bedrooms. Asiarooms staff called the hotel and requested that we should have what we originally booked. It was settled, per the hotel, we were upgraded to the delux room since the kingbed was not available at the moment. This was the second time we stayed, but it was crowded with the tour groups unlike the first trip 4years ago-nice, quiet and beautifully peaceful The facilities were packed and people were everywhere. I would recommend for a group tour because it is very convenient... not good for a couple who looks for romantice environment. Overall are good, but I will probably not stay here again." |

| "This resort is somewhat remote from Jomtien and Pattaya. Transport to and from the centres is limited, difficult and relatively expensive. The hotel has a taxi franchise that operates from the hotel and it capitalises on the captive market by charging Baht300 for what is a Baht60 journey to Jomtien. Taking the public taxi outside the resort is difficult as they do not run through to Jomtien Beach, but stop at the TESCO shopping Mall on the main road some several kilometres from the beach.
The overall English capability of the staff is poor, much poorer than you would find in a Bangkok hotel. The duty manager I spoke to was helpful and his English was good, but the desk staff and the F&B staff are poor English speakers. This resort is huge and during my stay there were over 2000 Russian tourists there, very few English speaking people. The resort is somewhat rundown like its Bangkok counterpart, which fortunately has been taken over by the Accor Group and is now undergoing refurbishment. This Ambassador is still owned by the Thais and needs a lot of work to bring it up to standard. If you don't mind being isolated and being surrounded by Russians (all nice people but not good conversationalists in English - but then I can't speak Russian either) don't stay here but head for Jomtien Beach centre and stay there or in Pattaya and be with the masses." |

| "First of all at reception hardly anybody speaks english, breakfast is really bad, toilets don't work,it is far away from the main beach, you guys at asiaroom should inform the guests about all these things,it costs alot to go to main pattaya beach, one might as well pay extra for the room rent, everybody charges hefty price in the evening to go to the hotel.Overall it is a bad choice." |

| "We have been staying at the Ambassador for the past 14 years more or less 2 to 4 times per year. Unfortunately, I must say that, year after year, we are more and more disappointed. On the positive side, the landscape around the buildings is being well maintained, they have removed the mini "Zoo" which gives more space (anyhow I hated to see so many birds in cages!!) …and that was the positive side of my stay.
Check-in took a while; it seems they were confused with the date and number of people on the voucher (which was correct). I was given only breakfast vouchers for two persons even though it stipulated 3 on the booking (2 adults/1child), so WE had to go back to the reception to correct their mistake (if they were really customer oriented, they could have sent the missing vouchers in the room!).
The room was large (good view) but the cleanliness left much to be desired. Aircon exhaust had black marks (mold) all around the surrounding wall, the electronic unit (command for lights, TV, Aircon etc...) was not screwed to the bedside table; under the bed head, the wall was cracked open with a lot of electric wires coming out of it (if I was not living in Bangkok for the past 14 years, I would believe it could be dangerous) the carpet was stained.
In the bathroom the toilet bowl inside and out was still very dirty, the shower heads had lime on them. I called for a supervisor with English speaking skill, but at first they sent a maid that could not understand me, then a supervisor arrived and took care of the room herself.
Generally speaking the staff do not look very eager to please, as if they were here to do only their job, they do not make you feel too welcome and especially for the breakfast staff ... they do not smile and avoid eye contact. The exception to this are the bellboys and the staff at the Pasta Pasta restaurant.
Pools are huge (one of the main reason I kept on coming back to this hotel) but for the first year, I noticed lime and slime all around it, staff are rarely seen at the pool as they used to be.
Finally in the lobby there is a coffee shop (concession) serving Cappuccino and espresso, ice cream etc… but only open at 11am, the staff is not really friendly and all they do is sitting behind the counter, why would a coffee shop open at 11am beats me! When the hotel is serving breakfast (with a very bad coffee) just around the corner!
