| "Overall, very good hotel, near mike and other shopping malls.
The only drawback for the hotel is too near bars and pubs so that music is very noisy even in the mid night." |

| "Hard to fault Areca lodge, especially on value and location. It is that perfect balance - walking distance to everything but also just out of earshot. Rooms are good size and many overlook the pool, or should I say....pools. After staying here three times previously, I was given a room this time in the 'rear block'. I was stunned to see a huge second pool area I didnt even know existed! The bellhop confirmed it had been there all the time - doh!! If you seek quality and value you wont be disappointed if you stay here...." |

| "This is the second time at Areca lodge and it just confirms why I came back, for the price this is one of the best Hotels in Pattaya, friendly staff, great rooms, good pools and nice breakfast.
Location is pretty good too at only 5 minutes walk from the beach road.
I have stayed in a lot of hotels in many courties over the years but as far as value for money goes this is right up there with best of them.
Ask for a pool view room in the front building, they are the best. " |

| "Have stayed at this hotel before - and will always go back! Rooms are a good size - always clean. the staff are friendly and the majority speak good English and the service is good.
The location for us is ideal as it is very close to all amenities yet in a relatively quiet location!
Great value for money!!" |

| "I just completed a 3 night stay at Areca Lodge in Pattaya. Overall, it is a nice hotel. The front of the edifice is impressive. It has a very nice swimming pool and the room has a balcony with a nice view of said pool. The room itself was spacious but a little worn. Plenty of hot water in the shower. Wow, the showerhead must have put out 20 gallons per minute, I almost felt guilty using it! No fauna in the room. There was a room safe and I felt comfortable using it. Some hotels, even though they might provide a room safe I don't trust using it. The hotel is girl friendly. Great location on Soi Diana and close enough to walk to Beach Rd and Walking St. Breakfast coupon is provided but available only until 10am. Great service at the reception desk. Very friendly. I would stay again." |

| "I have stayed in this hotel for about 6 times now(that in itself tells a story).
For me it is perfect as it is not too far from walking street(about 10 - 15 mins by foot)
So for people who do not like to stroll in the heat, it might not be the best but then cabs or motor bikes are available everywhere.
It is clean, service is great, rooms are adequately sized and it has the necessary facilities.
The only issue I have is that there are no ice cube trays in the freezer in the mini bar(not the case in all my past visits). So you have to pay 40baht for ice-cubes(very bad idea)
I know there is a recession but to charge hotel lodgers for ice is daylight robbery.
Just hope on my next visit they don't start charging for water usage." |

| "Yes was a very nice place.The staff was ok and friendly lacation was ok to see most of pattaya beach area, A short walk away.breakfast was same though everday but was ok ,would be better to expand the menu some.rooms were good and clean and comfortable.pool was good ,A good place and not expensive to stay, overall I would stay there again." |
