| "I arrived at the hotel on Sunday 19th April, which was Song Krang day in Pattaya. As a result it took ten hours to travel from Bangkok because of traffic around Pattaya. The lady who was booked into the hotel as my partner had gone visit her family in Udon Thani so I was on my own although I had booked and paid for two. Whilst she was in Udon Than, her mother took ill and she stayed on longer in order to take care of the home. The only part of the hotel which had air conditioning was the bedroom which made eating breakfast impossible due to the heat and humidity. On Thursday 23rd April I had another lady join me as it was apparent the original one would not be joining me. On the afternoon of Monday 27th April we returned to the hotel to be met by the hotel manager who was shouting and demanding additional payment because the lady was not the original reserved guest. He was wanting 300 Baht for each time she entered the hotel notwithstanding that the room had been paid for in advance for two people. As this lady would go out for my newspaper every morning and bring it back, then we would go out for the day, then return in the afternoon to clean up before going out for dinner this meant she was entering the hotel at least three times a day and he was demanding payment for each entry. I flatly refused and he called one of the security guards. He said that she was not be allowed into the room despite the fact that her clothes and personal effects were in the room. The security guard followed us to the room and tried to follow us in.When I tried to stop him he drew his metal truncheon and started brandishing it at me. I tried to take a note of his name but he covered it and kept swingin the truncheon toward me. The lady panicked, grabbed her clothes and ran. I then went to the police station and reported the incident but the Lieutenant Colonel said that without witnesses it was only my word against theirs. He did agree, on seeing my voucher, that there should additional charges to me but did advice me to leave the hotel early and provided a police officer to accompany me back to the hotel to collect my belongings; with strict instructions that that I was not to hindered or charged any more monies to the hotel. I then had to find another hotel for the remainder of my stay in Pattaya.Telephone calls to Asia Rooms.com were negative and fruitless. I had to pay for another hotel room despite having already paid for The Beverly Plaza. This has been traumatic experience." |

| "Great hotel. Excellent breakfast. Nice location, walking distance to Walking Street and southern end of Pattaya Beach. Decent swimming pool.
However, pool opens only till 6 pm. I was given a twin room, though I asked for double. They joined beds, however it lost it's show. Bathroom aminities are excellent. Lot of Indians around. Excellent Indian restaurant is inside the hotel primisis only, 200 Bt lunch & dinner buffet.
Overall, good recommendation for Indians, budget travellers and breakfast lovers." |

| "Very basic hotel, but located close to Walking street and pretty much everything. At Check-in, reception informed that there will be "guest charge" for bringing in ladies. I pointed out that the booking is for a "double/twin room". Then they waived off the additional charge, but said breakfast is only for "one person". This when the Asia rooms reservation voucher clearly mentioned that the booking is for a "double/twin" room inclusive of breakfast.
This left a sour note right in the beginning. Another put-off of this place is there are many "Indian groups" that land up. Makes the place pretty noisy.
Location of the hotel is pretty good. A very basic hotel but OK for budget tourists. There are many better options for the same money." |

| "Everything's ok but the only disadvantage ladycharge per day 300 bath. there are a lot of hotels which have no additional costs for taking a 'friend' on the room." |
