"A nice quiet place to stay not too far from the town center (by taxi) but the bathroom was tiny for such a luxurious hotel. Buffet breakfast was great. The amenities and facilities were aplenty and we had a great time as a young family. Most staff were great. Some need to be reminded why Thailand is the land of smiles. There are a lot more family-oriented entertainment and dining options in town but Pattaya is still what it is infamous for. Nevertheless, if you don't want to fly to Phuket or Koh Samui, a 2 hour drive from Bangkok is a pretty good alternative."

"We had a very nice stay. Location is perfect. Far away from hectic Pattaya and with a quiet private beach, although sometimes there was a lot of noise from speedboats etc. Still a good hotel for people looking for some rest. Beautiful garden. Breakfast buffet had everything, and more. Friendly staff. Bit difficult to get a taxi at the hotel. You have to wait till one arrives or walk to the main road, about 200 m. "

"The hotel and staff were fantastic. It was a beautiful way for us to unwind after doing a 7 day tour of Thailand. The food was quite expensive, at the healt and fitness, pool bar, we ate, rice portions are very small, my husband asked for extra rice twice, and was charged an extra bht 80 for the rice. he had already paid for one portion or rice and a chicken meal. hotel was nice and quiet. The down side was that the beach towell was given in the room and one had to carry it to and from the pool. in the evening housekeepng would knock on the door and you would have to remember to get a clean towell. this was very low class for a 5 star resort and especially when the hotel was not even half full. the bar stools in the bar in the Grand hotel, Crystals? did not go with the decor and were uncomfortable, but apart from that fantastic hotel, we checked out the rooms in the grand and the royal wing and for value for money the terrace won. also we preferred this to the suite at the royal wing, and the room in the grand, although the bathrooms in the grand and royal wing were nicer. would definitely go again and i think my parents may go there."

"This is the first hotel we stayed in in Thailand and was probably the best. From the moment we walked into our suite with the 4 poster bed overlooking the beach we were treated to 5* service. The staff were friendly and attentive and the whole complex was beautifully maintained to a high standard. The Royal Cliff Terrace Building hotel is situated slightly outside Pattaya which is great to avoid the noise and the seedier side of the town however we found some taxi drivers did not want to drive us back there or charged us more than the going rate. The only gripe with the hotel itself is the fact they played several bars of Dancing Queen all day long in the lobby - it drove me mad! How the staff don't go crazy I'll never know! That apart, no complaints at all."
