"Nice Hotel so stay near the beach with two pools. Room service does not determine between "make up room" and "do not disturb" sign, all signs are treated as "do not disturb". Good valiue for money. Only hassle is the tailor shop near the outdoorbreakfeast restaurant. Breakfeast buffet is somewhat good, Thai and european style mixed. Joners fee of 500 Bht recently introduced."

"This is what we think: The old part of the hotel, were we had rooms was in very bad shape. But we still think that it`s a good hotel. The kleening of the rooms was very good. The next time we travel to Thailand we would like to stay at White House Resort, but want to stay at the new part of the hotel. Best regaards from Hege, Henry og Pia "

"I stayed here once before in 2005 when I needed somewhere to stay while buying a condo in Jomtien. It was ok on that occasion but it really has gone to seed now. The place is pretty run down to say the least and the bathroom was shoddy. The only reason I stayed (despite all the previous bad reviews here) was that I knew I only needed a place on the baht bus route to put my head down for one night. Believe me the reviews you have read are a very reliable picture of the place. If you're male then getting to/from Beach Rd from the hotel entails a 75 metre 'ho-hurdle'. If you're ugly and new to Thailand and like the novelty of being pawed by (albeit very sexy and scantily clad) Thai girls then it's a positive boon. If you're a regular visitor looking for R&R then you'll know that the novelty eventually wears thin and becomes a pain. Therefore a hotel for one night, the budget backpacker or those not prone to mozzy bites. On a good note the staff are obviously honest and kept a pair of trousers I forgot for two days. "

"the problem is 99 % of the customers have been russian people with bad behavior."

" After some of the reviews I read, I wondered if there were two White House hotels in Pattaya. My young son and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The hotel complex is rather large so you do have to walk a bit to the main road, but no big deal. There is a guantlet of bars that you have to pass through also to get to Jomtien Beach Road, but it's not a big deal either, you're in Thailand. The room was a good size as was the bathroom, both being clean. The price was excellent, good value for your money. For a budget traveller you can't find a better deal. Good swimming at the beach and lots of places to eat close by."

"where do i start with this hotel, i dont often complain about hotels but this is the worst hotel me and my friend have ever stayed anywhere in thailand. Firstly there is a hidden charge which is not displayed on this or there own website (joining fee 500 baht per room per night) then we had to compete with the noise of workmen 8am right outside are rooms. Also the reception staff gave my room key to another guest and denied all knowledge of me putting my key in the key box saying i lost it trying to charge me 500 baht for loss of it. The rooms overall were poor, big gap at the bottom of my door and had a bad smell even after the cleaners had done there job. My friends room had mould all over the walls and smelt the same, electrics were a deathtrap, dado rail was hanging off the ceiling in 2 places. The only plus i can give this place is the staff (apart from the key problem) they were allways happy and willing to help should we have a question for them but i would'nt recommend this hotel to anyone."

"The hotel is getting old. the service could be better."

"You will not post this review because it will not encourage anyone else to stay. On arrival my Wife and I were allocated a room that was musty and smelled of damp. The area around the air conditioning unit was blackened and there were holes and dents in the walls. We complained and were shown to a `better' room that was not qiute as musty. As we were putting our luggage down we were ushered to a third room that we were told was even better. This room proved to be infested with small black ants which bit us both during the night. I bought and emptied a large can of insect killer into the room and our second night was more comfortable. On the third day the ants were back in large numbers, this time infesting the toilet roll ! The restaurant area was infested with ants and flies all over the food as well as cats in the eating area. Unfortunately the whole place seems to be in need of refurbishment, if not rebuilding. I am sorry but we will not be back."
