"We were very happy in this family friendly hotel as we went there with our 2 daughters 4 months and 2 years old. there were many children, many activities, a big swimming pool. The service was very good and even the housekeepers can speak English. The only drawback was the humidity of the room even in April. We were on the ground floor as my husband had a broken feet so maybe just avoid the ground floor and it should be fine. The restaurant on the beach with the grill is a must."

"This is our third time at the Dusit Laguna and we are still very impressed with the hotel. It is an ideal location for restaurants and bars which are within easy reach. We are definitely going to return.
We arrived earlier than we expected but we were shown to our room without any problem. There was a well-stocked mini-bar and the bathroom was very nice. The rooms had been updated since the first time we came and I must say they were quite impressive.
The only downside was the poolside bar and cafe which was a lot more expensive this time than before and there was no apparent reason for this as the menu had not altered, just the price.
The breakfasts in the Laguna Cafe were really good with lots of choice. The maid service was good and if you needed anything you only had to ask, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The poolboys were really nice and pleasant and took your towels down to the beach and arranged your sunbeds and umbrella's for you.
The weather this time was a bit wetter than before but when the sun came out it was glorious.
We will be returning again to this hotel and would recommend a visit to anyone who enjoys a holiday with a touch of luxury thrown in."

"The hotel is rather exspesive and the room is not as good as one should exspect refering to the price. You can get much better rooms to much lower prices elsewhere in Thailand. The best of the hotel is the garden and the beach.

"It was an okish 5 star hotel, but it is very 80-90's looking one...outdated and nothing compare to modern luxury hotels in Thailand. No internet in the rooms... Also, it is too big and looks very American. We have not spoted anything that would reflect locat/traditional Thai design...no special atmospher at all.. The lagun does not add any value at all, it looks like London Thames - dirty and dark. I felt like I was somewhere in a middle of the USA....
we spent 5 nights at Twinpalm and 5 nights at The Racha on Ko Racha Ya before Dusit and it was fantastic and amazing experience - nothing like Dusit at all.
all in all it was an okish experience and we were prepared not to expect much, as it we stayed there 2 last nights just before flying back to London. The hotel is relatively close to the phuket airport and was resonably priced
