"We stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks in August 2009. We were very pleased with everything this hotel had to offer. It is an easy 5 minute walk to the beach, or there is a free shuttle service with free chairs further up the beach. Breakfast was good, but as in most Asian hotels, it was never kept hot. There is a 7 Eleven near by as well as numerous restaurants. We would fully recommend this hotel."

"It really is paradise! the hotel is great: the room, breakfast, swimming pool ... everything was perfect. since even the location within walking distance to the beach in 5 minutes. The only thing we dislike is that it is wrong and gave us a room with two beds instead of a marriage. But in the end it was solved. Part story, will tell the whole world!"

"We read many reviews before choosing our hotel at Kata Beach, and we were pleased with our choice. We paid AUD35 a night and the rooms have everything you would want for this type of money, or even to pay more. It's about a 4 - 5 minute walk to the sand and it is a nice beach area too. Easy swimming. The hotel was always quiet and the breaky was ok with most things you needed without being anything to rave about. The whole area is much smaller & quieter than the Patong area. One thing... All power point wall sockets do not have earth plug. So if you have a laptop where they nearly all have earth plugs on the cable, you will need an adapter to suit the wall, and unless you are close to the front of the lobby, the wireless doesn't always reach to the back. But its no problem to bring the lappy to the lobby, and there are two other free computers to use there too."

"Absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Kata Palm Resort, warm friendly staff, fantastic pool area, basic but adequate breakfasts but always hot and fresh. Would definately stay here again as the hotel and location were ideal for us. (Actually made a great change to be able to use the minibar at street shop prices) shame a few other hotels dont adopt this policy)***** stars Kata Palm"

"Great staff, great location and great value. A true resort feel and only minutes walk to a great surf beach and all of Kata Beach's bars, restaurants and shopping. "
