| "The view on arrival and our first drink at the bar, overlooking the bay,was the perfect start to our stay.
Excellent hotel in a fantastic location, overlooking Patong Bay.Only 5 minute walk to the centre of Patong Bay,but well worth it for the views from the hotel.Staff were very friendly and helpful.Breakfast was always something to look forward too.Two pool areas that were always clean, both with views over the bay.Treat yourself to the La Gritta restaurant on the final night, the perfect way to end your holiday. We will definitely stay at the Amari again.

| "The location is very good, the view from the rooms is beautiful (only when the tide is high, though, otherwise the beach looks awfully dirty at low tide),especially the jetty is very nice, but the rest of the resort is only average for that price. Food is so so, and the service at the restaurants is rather bad. The Thai restaurant is not really Thai, it's rather fusion, only the Italian one is adequate. The worst is the seafood buffet of Wednesday night, it's overpriced and the seafood is NOT even fresh, it seemed like they just pull all the leftover of the week into that buffet, very disappointing for the price you pay. I would recommend only if you dont plan to eat at the hotel. " |

| "Very good service, well laid out hotel next to the beach. About a 10 minute walk into Patong, which was nice to be away from the busy streets, restaurants etc very chilled, but easily close enough to get to the bars and restuarants when you want them. Better than I expected for the money it cost, impressed all round, highly recommend this hotel." |

| "The staff were friendly and I even got my room up-graded.
The room was a ocean view and lovely.
There were two large swimming pools and adjacent to the hotel was the Batong beach.
Probably the only hotel that has a beach right next to the hotel (without crossing the street).
The location was at the south end of the Batong street thus very quiet.
Have to take tuk tuk from the hotel to the central of the Batong street that cost me 200bht (I saw some people walk but I chose not to. I will get all sweat).
Room and the bathroom needed a little bit of more renovations and painting.
Other than that the stay was enjoyable." |

| "Excellent resort hotel, a little away from the action in Patong Beach. It has heaps of steps so it is not the place for oldies who have difficulties with steps" |

Food / Meal are expensive." |
