After the trauma of staying in Jomtien in a supposed quality bungalow this was heaven and perfect, great service, great room, exceptionally clean bathroom and fantastic grounds on to the beach.
Booked there and then for Christmas, didnt see much better on the Island and other than BKK nothing can touch it for qulaity of service and all around satisfaction.
This may read like I own the hotel, I dont and if you have read any of my other feedback on hotels you will know I dont give praise easily. Well done to all staff and management

| "My family and I did enjoy the Amora for its charm and facilities but felt it was not actually value-for-money. The breakfast spread leaves much to be desired and the rather remote location makes eating out difficult. The beach is not as nice as it was made out to be in the adverts on Bangtao area. Our previous holidays at Patong Beach and Cape Panwa were more enjoyable." |

| "We stayed at the Amora Resort in Phuket and thoroughly enjoyed all aspects. The location is perfect, just a 2 minute walk thru the grounds and you are on a fantastic beach. The hotel itself was very clean, the staff extremely friendly and the breakfast choice was very good too. Unfortunately it rained a lot throughout our stay so we decided to move to Patong Beach for a couple of nights as there is more to do down there. At both Patong and Bang Tao there are plenty places to arrange trips to other islands, and most of these trips will come and pick you up from the hotel lobby (so very stress free). I would definitely recommend the Amora Beach Resort to anyone wanting a peaceful beach holiday. Thank you to all the staff for helping make ours a truly memorable holiday." |

| "Def Value for money, much more than we expected. Two good size Pools. Balconies a waste of time, far too small but rooms good size and well done with good facilities. Great Service and staff. Amazed hotel had duty free shop. Could buy cheap drinks at hotel. Thats a one off. Good reasonably priced food at hotel but also lots of beach eateries. Right on nice long beach. Out of Hustle and bustle." |

| "I had actualy intended to write to Asia rooms re this hotel.
The last 3 days of our stay the hotel was invaded with 140 (I think they said) school children on an english camp !!!
They were noisy and at times extremely inconsiderate. But this was good compared to their teacher and their children who ate breakfast with guests and took plates and plates of pasteries and fruit back to their rooms leaving little left for any late rises.
Hotel staff did seems to realise and tried to be as helpful as possile in offering cooked breakfast .
BUT when I approached the hotel manager, he informed me the children were not on holiday but on school camp (at the hotel ) - very unhelpful and not at all interested in my concerns. I was meant to be on HOLIDAY so much for peace and quiet.
The hotel has nice pools on a nice beach BUT way too far from action of Patong eg shops, markets and restaurants. And it costs heaps to travel there on our dollar the hotel shuttle bus is NOT free I thought it was to be. Also no bikes to get about on and too far to walk into town. Never again had been happy with Asia rooms suggestions in the past. " |
