Not convenience, the nearest convenience shop only located at 10-15min walking distance and all restorant close around 10pm++

| "I stayed for 5D4N at the hotel;2N - Deluxe room & 2N - Spa Villa(which had been upgraded to Honeymoon Suite by the management especially for me and my fiancee engagement). Honeymoon Suites is room with Big bed, personal balcony and outdoor Jacuzzi facing beach. First floor Jacuzzi can accommodate 2 people at once but second floor one is for one person but with greater beach view(higher). I m really appreciate their initiatives to make our stay a perfect one. The environment is superb. All room is located nicely surrounded the cascading pool. The most enjoyable moment is having breakfast facing the kata beach scenery. No difficulties are faced during my room transfer on third day. The management settled everything for us while we are having a whole day trip to Phi Phi Island (1450 baht per pax) that day. We are allowed to put our important documents and wallet in safety box also. Room service is normal speed, we change our deluxe room once and they allowed us to choose which room we want.
I have something to share about Santi Spa (spa service in the Hotel). I am not a stingy person when I come to pleasure trip. But I just feel my fiancee is cheated by the reception at Santi Spa. Its our engagement trip so I surprise my fiancee with a spa treatment for her. So she chose the 4200 baht Andaman Secret Spa Promotion Package. After she finished the spa happily suddenly the receptionist bring over a promotion 60 mm x 30 mm flyers, which says actually for early birds (1000-1200) can get 30% on all ala-carte spa treatment and ask my fiancee come pay a visit tomorrow also if got time. My fiancee calculated the package and the package she took actually costed 300 baht only if taken ala-carte with 30% discount. And she found out that the promotion package is playing cheat also. Its not promotional price, its the same price as you take ala-carte. I m dissappointed.
About the steep hill up to the hotel, its really a disaster if climbing up after a tired swimming at the beach. Luckily we rented a Honda Jazz which only cost 800 Baht per day(After a long bargaining work). Its more worth it if travel with 4-5 people. You can go anyway you want. But the oil in Thailand is quite high (35 baht per liter).
Basically, shopping at Kata & Karon is cheaper than Patong but much much more expensive than Phuket Town.example: a plain T-shirt price 600 baht(Patong), 450-300 baht(Kata-Karon) but 200-100 baht(Phuket Town). Near the hotel, there is a lot of thai massage shop(800 baht-2 hours Aromatheraphy whole body massage), varieties of food stall(western, italy, cheap but fresh seafood, etc)." |

| "Lovely Thai Hotel with 3 cascading swimming pools, spa and massage on site. American buffet breakfast was superb and included in price. Room is large with kingsize bed, cable TV available in room. Spotlessly clean hotel. friendly and obliging staff. Restuarant food is outstanding, very high standard and moderate prices. Hotel has a magnificant view over Kata beach and bay. Cheaper rooms do not have a sea view.
Hotel is 4 minute downhill walk to Kata Beach, which is great swimming beach with a gentle gradient. At 100m offshore the water was up to our chest.Uphill walk is not a challenge as taxi drivers at bottom of hill charge 100 baht - Australian $3.00 for a ride up the hill for up to 5 persons. Kata beach is much quieter than many other Phuket Beaches, several restaurants, massage,laundry 70 baht per kilo and money exchange all within 5 minute walk of hotel." |

| "I stayed at Andaman Cannacia for 3nights. My first trip to Phuket and it was an unforgettable one. I was feeling like I am in a 5Star hotel. It was fantastic. Friendly service, except for the slope up the resort. But it is not that bad actually. But the breakfast area can be improve. There are some flies flying around during my breakfast. Other then that the food is fine. I got a perfect view facing the andaman sea. well, you have to request what you want to the front desk and subject to availability. Wish i took a longer break there. " |

| "We stayed here for a week, on our honeymoon. We booked a garden suite with a jacuzzi, but were upgraded to the honeymoon suite. It was absolutely stunning. The breakfast was lovely (unfortunately there was no bacon - but we could live with that), room service was good, as was the concierge and front desk service.
My only other qualm was that no body lotion was provided (which I thought was odd, for a hotel of this standard). The hotel was on a hill, but the views were terrific, you are away from the hustle and bustle - and there is a shuttle bus anyway.
There is a bar/restaurant 300m further up the hill, which is definitely worth the walk to get to. Coconut shakes and pad thai to die for.
This is a well priced resort, and we would love to stay here again." |
