| "The hotel was much further from Bangla Road than appeared on the map, so we had a 15-20 minute walk to Bangla Road. There was not many facilities around the hotel. They tried to charge us for the Gala meal on New Years Eve when we had not booked it, which caused some animosity. We didn't find the staff particularly friendly, apart from the security guards....
The hotel was mainly occupied by guests from Germany and Holland etc. There was no other English speaking guests there, at that time.
On the positive side, the pool was lovely and clean, very relaxing and the sunbed area was kept clean." |

| "I Stayed in the Andatel back in june. The hotel is excellent. The room that I booked was a little small for two & a small child, so I upgraded to a Suit for 12 nights. The only criticism that I have is the Breakfast which is a Buffet and is always cold (Bacon Eggs etc) The fried eggs were terrible.
Staff excellent. Pool great except for last 3 days when the water turned green and the pool could not be used." |

| "I stayed in this hotel in September 2003 and found the location really great. The staff were very helpful, and friendly with the rooms are large and comfortable. A little outdated but still comfortable.
The meals aren't the greatest but a short walk to the shops where there is great food. The bar 2 doors down called Nicky's Handle Bar has great entertainment and excellent staff.
I recomend this place for value for money." |

| "Stayed there in Mar 2006. Room is of reasonable size, furniture is slightly dated, location is quiet and within reasonable walking distance to the beach (approx. 15 mins). Breakfast is limited in choices and could have been better. The other minus is the lack of an electric kettle in the room makes it very inconvenient for family with small children and infant. Although we can get hot water from the restaurant, but imagine getting up in the middle of the night, walk all the way out to the reception just to get some hot water..." |

| "Stayed at the Andatel Patong for 4D3N and found it a real relaxing hotel.
What I liked about the hotel;
1. Rooms are clean and with no funny smells (5 Stars)
2. Rooms are spacious (with balcony) and the bed is comfortable.
3. Rooms are situated far inward the compound (away from traffic) and very quiet for a very good nights rest.
4. Nice tropical garden walkway to your room.
5. Staffs are very helpful. Check out Tina, the reception babe!
6. Street stalls are just across the road, was never hungry in the night.
7. Bangla Rd is just a slow 15min walk away on the same main road. Great for walking away those alcohol after partying all night!
8. Beach is just 10min walk away (although I never set foot onto the beach....hahaha)
Overall, this hotel in my opinion is value for money and the relaxing atmosphere is definitely a plus! Will return again!
What can the hotel improve on;
1. Better breakfast!
2. Flexible checkout time with no extra charge please.
3. Make it more GF friendly?
