| "One thing to be known of Phuket before turning up and looking for hotels is that most of them are not by the beach, probably following the tsunami. Ayara is like most hotels in Surin (except Chedi and Amanpuri) and not directly by the beach. Surin is a nice beach but a bit too quiet at night. So not ideal if you are a party lover. Ayara Hilltops is on a hill 3 minutes walk from beach. Villas are very nice but i think slightly overpriced compared to other hotels in Thailand we have been to. The staff was very friendly." |

| "Upon checkin, we were giving a welcome drink and refreshment towel. The staff then gave us a short orientation of the reception area and facilities. The resort area is well maintained and planted with beautiful orchid flowers, banana plants and flowering fragipani trees.
We were given a complimentary head and neck massage for 30min which turns out to be a full body massage for about 45min.
There's free internet service but there's only one out of two computer working then.
They have a buggy service to bring you up and down the hill from your room to the reception area. We had a seaview room but the sea is partly obsured by the room in front of ours. Thus we walked to that room further ahead to check out the view. The view is very good but it's also near the main road so the sound of traffic's pretty loud. It's a compromise between view and tranquility.
As for the shower area, I like the outdoor rainshower and it feels secure enough. If you don't like to shower outdoor, then there's only the bathtub and no other shower facilities.
The recliner chairs on the balcony are very comfortable and the jacuzzi is enjoyable too. However, it's not 100% private as people who walk by could look at you at ur balcony and jacuzzi.
The staff surprised us with a birthday cake for my boyfriend on his birthday and we appreciate it.
There isn't much food for breakfast. We had a seafood basket for dinner at the poolside restaurant at night but we didn't really like it.
The location of the resort is a little boring because there are no recreational activities nearby. The buggy will drive u right up to the beach and the hotel provides free towel and has their own deck chairs but there's nothing to do on the beach.
The restaurants are also deserted but this could be due to the period being low season for tourism." |

| "My stay was only 3 days 2 nights and I think this duration is just nice. Any longer than that will be pretty boring as Surin beach do not have much activities during the day or night. However, if you wish to stay away from the hustle of city life, Ayara Hilltops is the perfect place for you. Its really relaxing and the spa service was wonderful. Service from Ayara was fantastic too. I have a wonderful experience and will definitely recommend to anyone who is intending to go Phuket. One thing I will like to comment is that the jacuzzi pool only have cold water, will be better if hot water can be implemented as well." |

But it's located on a kinda lonely place.
I think this hotel must be perfect for honeymooners." |
