| "This hotel was quite expensive as far as hotels go in Thailand,Phuket, and we thought that we would get a beautiful room for the price we paid. However the 1st room smelt so mouldy we asked to be shifted. It also had single beds, and we were Mr & Mrs. Their expalnation was you booked a twin room, well there wasnt an option for Mr & Mrs. the 2nd room they put us in had an overwhelming smell of Lemon something,so strong it burnt my nose. After leaving the door open for a few hours the smell subsided and we were left with the mouldy smell. I think these rooms were affected by the tsunami and have never had the carpets replaced. However the staff were lovely and went out of their way to please, even leaving a Happy anniversary cake in the fridge. But as far as value for money,no it wasnt, for that price I would have expected something far more luxurious.Be careful what water you drink, the rule book says "water is for visitor for free"They dont exactly say which water, and come billing time it is only the 2 glass bottles, which in that heat is not enough for 2 people." |

| "The hotel was very, very conveniently located, which was what we were looking for, but in retrospect I'd stay a bit further out as it was a bit noisy.
Would be great if you are out to party, but we were on our honeymoon. It's steps away from the bars and markets and food, which is great when you get hungry at 2am.
The room was nice, the bathroom was nice too, but the urinal smelt a bit!" |

| "The location of this hotel is incredible, especially if you want to be right smack dab in the middle of the Patong nighlife. I booked a cabana room so the noise was minimal. Also, I can't say enough about the kindness of the hotel staff. One night there were some unruly college kids and they did an excellent job getting them under control and even offerd to move my room. Its not the ritz, but the rooms are above average, reasonably priced, very clean and right in the middle of it all. " |

| "Excellent location... right in the heart of the nightlife & shopping, YET amazingly quiet once you get to your room. Excellent room (size, cleanliness & comfort). Fairly decent service & facilities. Value for money. Housekeeping services were the only MINOR dissapointment." |

| "I am very satisfied with the service from Asia rooms who helped me sourced for alternatives when my first choice hotel was not available.
In the end, I chose to stay at Baan Sukhothai for its convenient location. I booked their deluxe room with a balcony which looked quite ok in the pictures. However upon arrival, I was qutie shock at how old and gloomy the room was. The bathroom tiles were old and yellow and the shower was not working well. The bedsheets made us itch on the first night. I think we could have deserve better for S$101 per night! Fortunately, the location was really convenient as mentioned on the website. It was right on the happening Bangla road where all the night life was and just 10min away from the beach. This was the compensating factor otherwise I would have been totally disappointed with my stay at Baan Sukhothai.
I would probably try their bungalow room next time if I had to stay there again." |

| "This was the second time I have stayed at the hotel. I have found all the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. Of course the location is perfect for access to the entertainment areas and despite this proximity to these areas the hotel itself is quiet and peaceful. I will definately be returning." |

| "Beautiful hotel, right in the middle of the busiest part of Patong Beach, yet when you wander back to your waterhouse or room, you have no idea all the nightlife is this close!!
We enjoyed staying here, breakfast was a bit poor to say the least, better to go to the Coffee Shop across the road from the start of Bangla Road

| "Located in the centre of the resort. The main shopping centre and night life is right outside the hotel. A few hundred yards from the sea. Worth paying the small extra charge for a superior room next to the pool. Standard rooms are closer to the road and some noise can be heard from the bars. Quiet clean pool with plenty of sun beds. Good buffet breakfast and good service. Would recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to be close to the centre." |

| "If your looking for a hotel smack in the middle of the entertainment area then this is for you. The rooms are OK and the staff were fine. The pool is fairly small and the pool bar was quite often unstaffed, its only a couple of minutes walk to the beach though. Overall its not bad value for money and would probably stay here again." |
