Helpful obtainable staff. A great pool for sunbathing and kids. Only a short walk to the beach. I only tried the food once and it was great even though i didn't get what I ordered. The showers were cold in my first room and after moving the shower temperature varied from lukewarm to very hot serveral times throughout each shower. To be honest these were minor issues and I enjoyed my stay here. My rating came out as 3/5 but I would score it as a 4/5 overall.

| "We've booked a deluxe room (with a king size bed) with Asiarooms. However, upon arrival, we were informed that the hotel only have rooms with 2 single beds available. We were rather disappointed and the front office didn't even bother to help suggest any alternatives. Subsequently, we chance upon the pool access room, booked it, paid extra RM130@night and we got our King size bed with direct access to the pool from our balcony. I must say the room is rather spacious and bathroom is clean and of good size. They have quite a nice pool with several jacuzzi spots too. The hotel to my view is located at the end of Patong Beach which is not far from the Holiday Inn. Quite a distance to walk even to Carrefour. Facilities and service is basic- nothing to shout about. But overall, good for budget travelers or big group of family who intends to spend week long holidays in Phuket. " |

| "We stayed at the Baumanburi Hotel in Jul-Aug 08, and enjoyed our stay very much. We have travelled extensively throughout Asia, and I found the Hotel consistent with the Asia Rooms stated standard.
For the price the location was good. We wanted a more active holiday, eating out, shopping, and Bars so the location was good.
The Staff were always friendly, talkative, and helpful with language tips.
Breakfasts I really enjoyed, however I wish the menu changed every other week. The cooks did a great job and the breakfast eggs were the best!
I got good value out of the gym, it basically had all of the expected machines, and I had it to myself most of the time! The pool is large enough to have a piece of it to yourself and there were plenty of available sun lounges.
Our room was on the 5th floor, the room standard was very good, and very clean. The staff who cleaned the rooms were courteous, and patient.
Considering the other adjacent resorts, the Baumanburi Hotel was good value for the Australian dollar. See you again next year" |

| "It's a nice hotel to stay with nice pool but the front desk service is lousy. No smile no welcome drinks and no basic customer service. I travel around Thailand and always have great hospitality from hotel service personal. But this time round.. Not at all. Very heartbreaking.
Hope the hotel manager will look into this. The hotel location are pretty alright. It's surrounded by several restaurants and shops. And there's motorcycles parking if you rent a bike to tour around Patong. However, it's a must to carry your driving licence along. I learned a lesson that we were caught by the traffic police check.

| "I was pleasantly surprised at how good this inexpensive accommodation was. Lovely room with little Thai touches, very clean room and general hotel areas, stunning pool area with tropical plants for shade and privacy as you tan, great buffet breakfast included in the price. Excellent value for money if you're in Phuket." |
