Fantastic value for money resort in a great location. It is next door to some huge markets with great bargins and the kids can head out for a quick shop and run back for a swim in the pool. Even though you are in the midst of all the action, once you are in your hotel it is very quiet and peaceful. The resort is what I would call a quality Thai style hotel and not like a big concrete Sheraton. The pool area was very private and had lots of tropical plants for shade. We ate lunch at the pool bar most days for AUD$4 per meal and the kids ordered non-alcoholic cocktails all the time for about $3. We had our washing done next to the hotel for less then $2 per kilo. There is a travel agent for tours next door as well. We often stay in Marriott, Sheraton, Novotel hotels etc at premium prices but we felt this was a better option for the family to experience all the action of Phuket without the high price tag.

| "We booked a Grand Suite for 4 days in preference to a Standard or Deluxe room because the description included a jacuzzi. The staff showed the wrong room at first (it was a nice room on 2nd floor, but plainly not a suite) and after checking, gave us the "correct" suite. This consisted of a large dim windowless anteroom with couch, fridge and tv plus a separate spacious rather sparsely furnished main room (with nice but small balcony) and a well appointed bathroom, but NO jacuzzi. Upon enquiry, we were informed that no rooms or suites have a jacuzzi .For the additional price, it was not worth it (the smaller nice first room we saw was more well appointed and, in hindsight, we would have been happier there).Staff were generally friendly and helpful, but the hotel's policy (along with many others in Patong)of charging for "guests" meant that often when my Filipina wife was accompanying me back in the evening we got suspicious stares from doormen, etc.We had brought a few bottles of wine with us, but whenever we requested a corkscrew, the staff were most reluctant to leave it in the room, so we had to re-request one daily. The pool looks OK, but not special, and is a little hemmed in by the buildings.
The breakfast is very good. The location is marginal: just that little bit too far from everwhere, but there are good restaurants in the area if you explore." |

| "As a couple, we initially stayed for 6 nights and were given a superior room, a little tired but OK. The pool was great and resturant good value. We enjoyed this part of our stay.
We checked out for one night then returned for one more night. We were then given an obviously lower standard room 2306. It was dark, had a musty smell and in poor condition. As an added bonus, it had a condon left lying on the floor, from a previous guest. We were pleased to leave." |

| "We enjoyed our stay and the facilities were great my only real complaint would be the hardest of the beds we stayed 7 nights and as the days went on I was not looking forward to going to bed at night in fact I have ended up coming home with a very sore back & hips.
On several occasions some of the rooms had room service and the trays were left outside until well into the next day." |
