| "Stayed there in Sept 08. Great rooms, close to beach, beautiful beach and scenery and great beach chairs, good pool, good service, good value. The room in BWP, Bangtao is good size. After adding one extra bed, the room is still spacious. They provided us w 2 umbrellas, a torchlight, big LCD TV, minibar, coffee making facilities, candle w romantic stand, safe box and everything you need. The bathroom is spacious, shower strong, the bath deco is better than many 5* hotels i have seen. everything is spotlessly clean. Breakfast is nothing to shout about, but they provided bacon and egg. and you get to breakfast a few meters from the beach! we had a standard room with no sea view but was very private. we didn't really need the sea view as the beach is 30 seconds walk away. the beach chairs alone is worth staying in this hotel. they are comfy and inviting, you can chill out on the beach all day! the massage hut is cool, ride by the beach, good sea view while massaging. the few old women masseurs there are superbly skillful. the 400 thb massages in BWP Bangtao is better than having ten mediocre 200 thb massages elsewhere, like in Patong. the only complain, at night during the low season, it can be a bit like a ghost town. too quiet. in all, very good value for low season. even the housekeeping trolley is nicer than all 5* hotels i have seen. i miss BWP Bangtao so much already. if you stay there, don't forget to eat at Lotus restaurant right on the beach near Banyan Tree Laguna, its a 5* restaurant charging 1* price. | "First time visitor to this hotel and found it to be extremely good. One of the pools was being re-tiled, but it was no problem as the other pool was perfect. The staff are great and english was no problem at all. All in all a great spot to relax and safe enough for families to hire scooters for a look around." |

| "Our stay at this hotel was very enjoyable and relaxing. Staff were friendly and curtious and looked after us very well. Breakfast buffet was fantastic with many different foods available. The only dissapointing thing was the pool with the swim up bar was closed for renovations at the time of out stay, but apart from that we were very impressed with the service and location and would recommend to others." |

| "Best western of course is a luxury hotel, but compared to a luxury hotel at Cape Panwa I paid too much, simply too much for a sea view room.
I booked sea view and got a tree view. Of course, the room was on the highest floor in the middle, they gave me one of their best rooms, but I don't understand why they say it's a sea view room. The sea gleams through the trees, but I expected it right in front of me without anything else.
Besides the sea view, I think there are other hotels which are not that expensive and more value the money.
Room is clean, they have good service and you can trust them (for instance with wake-up service.)

| "The hotel is not bad but it did not please us. Typical tourist hotel with several floors. Our curtain was full of mould at arrival. After discussion they changed the curtain (after one night). Shops such as 7-Eleven or pharmacies cannot be reached without motorbike. In our opinion, you should select a place such as Karon, if you like to have meals outside the hotel. Nearly only Germans in the hotel. We had more beautiful hotels at favourable prices. We booked in low season, otherwise the hotel is to expensive! A meal at Bangtao Beach is more expensive than at other places of Phuket." |

| "To many russians around and far away from any interesting spot for you people.
poolfacilities not ok and a lot of chloric acid in the water . eyes are burning after a couple of minutes.
this hotel is something like mallorca in europe
to many people on budget holidays
Nothing for people how are looking for realy relaxing holidays and a litle bit of luxury
We live in Malaysia and honestly there are better places to go in Asia and also in Thailand .
Last time we chosed the Moevenpick Hotel Kata Beach .
It was a litle bit more expensive but next time we will go back there " |

| "We stayed for 6 nights in the Bangtao Best Western over Easter 2007. This was our first visit to Phuket and we went as a couple with our 6 year old son. We all had a lovely time! The hotel was ideal for us - the room was spacious and clean, the swimming pool was super and of an ample size, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was great (both breakfast and dinner)and the location was just perfect for us, nice quite area but also right on the beautiful beach. The price we paid for what we got (especially for this time of the year) was excellent. We would definitely recommend it and probably (only because we like to go to different places) go back again soon!" |

| "Wireless Internet connectivity was poor to impossible in the room on the 4th floor, but almost acceptable on the 1st floor. The staff spoke English well. I asked for towels from the pool for a day trip but was told none were available due to laundry service not being finished. " |
