| "My husband and I stayed here fore 2 weeks on our honeymoon. This is a beautiful hotel - just far enough out of Patong to be peaceful but close enough that we could walk in most days. The breakfast buffet in the outdoor restaurant (overlooking the ocean) was lovely with wide selection of inetrnational foods. The staff were lovely - always a hello and a smile and very helpful with whatever we needed. Unfortunately the bottom pool (with the bar)was being renovated when we were here but the top pool was still nice and overlooked the ocean. Highly recommended for couples - the hotel is set on a hill so there is a walk up a hill and then quite a few steps to get to the rooms but all that exercise just meant we could indulge in a few more pool side cocktails! This is a great spot if you want to be close to Patong but still have a sense of peace and quiet. We would come here again!" |

| "I have to rate this hotel 10/10 the location was fantastic. You could easily walk down to the beach and the night life and a taxi back to the hotel was really cheap. The staff were brilliant. Their english is really quite good and by the time we left it was getting a lot better. The staff were really friendly at the Blue Marine coffe shop and we got to know them very well. Please take the time to talk to them as they can't do enough for you and it will enrich your holiday 10 fold. We are going back next year and would go back tommorow if we could." |

| "We arrived at the hotel at about 1.00pm and was told the room is not ready so we were asked to wait at the restaurant. At 2.00pm and 2.45pm, we check with the reception again and was told the same thing and that they will inform us when the room is ready. We waited until 3.30pm and still no one inform us the room is ready. Check with the reception and finally the room was ready but they did not inform us. Took the keys and had to climb up all the stairs to the room because no one even bother to show us where it is. The reception had only one staff and he is not very sure of his work. Very bad service for a hotel with this rating
When we reached the room, guess what?? It is still not ready and everything are in a mess. Only when we called the manager, did the housekeeping come in and clean up the room. Why can't they clean our room first since we were waiting for more than 2 hours. The manager told us to relax at the pool first but this is simply unacceptable with the price they are charging so finally she upgraded us to a suite that was ready." |

| "the facilities is very good!except for its location,up the hill,we have to take tuk tuk or taxi all the way to patong town its quite inconvinent.
plus,the breakfast is wonderful!
i'll definitely go back again!

| "Besides the wall should be repainted and the wooden frame of the bed was slightly demaged, it is a romanic place with excellent seaview. There is full of remanic feeling through out the whole Resort. Staff are nice and their services is good & polite. Overall speaking, we enjoyed our holidays and will come again." |

| "Blue MArine is a hotel you want to visit again and again !!! very reasonable price and very good service too, the only drawback is that it is not on the beach directly , so either rent a bike or pay 150 to 200 baht each time you want to leave the hotel or come back to the hotel , WHICH is TOO MUCH !!! " |

| "The hotel itself was good. What you see in the pictures is what you get. However, it is not recommanded for senior citizens nor family with kids as there were too many steps, unless of course you bother to call and wait for the buggy to come. It is also too far from where the action is. Beach is not suitable for swimming as it is very rocky so if you want to go to the beach, you literally need to go to Patong Beach. There is shuttle service but it is too limited. Service was not great. Breakfast was OK, menu changes everyday.
However, staff was not as friendly as compared to our previous experience with another hotel. As we had booked 3 rooms with one having an extra bed, they mixed this up and caused total chaos when we charge drinks to the "correct" room. We had also had a late checkout for one of the rooms as our flight was at 20:30hr. So when we checked out from the other 2 rooms and returned them the keys, they insisted that we clear the bills there and then. We informed them that we were going to checkout from the 3rd room anyway at 17:30hr so why can't the billing be done together later and we were questioned for requesting this!
Due to these various factors, we'll not consider coming back to the hotel." |
