This hotel was absolutely good value for the money; about THB 2'400 per night but more luxury than the best western at Bangtao beach, where I paid more and got less.
On the balcony was a lounge which was almost a bed, very cosy, I have never seen something like that on a balcony before.
They have a free shuttle service to some places; by car a few minutes, but by foot too much effort for being on holiday.
The breakfast was very rich, and over the sweet food they had a propeller in order to keep annoying animals away.
Room was clean, cosy, safe, I would definitely stay at this hotel again (if I will go to the south of Phuket again). The only thing I was a little disappointed is they write every room has sea view. Well, very far behind some trees I could see the sea, but it's not what you expect from a sea view room.
About 95% of the tourists were English, I felt a bit foreign but it was good to practice my English.
The location....I think for Phuket it's one of the better ones. But anyway, for me nowhere in Phuket it is beautiful enough. Don't believe the pictures in the internet with the white sand on the beach. It's a fake!

| "Elevated position somewhat worrying when you first arrive but proved to be no problem given the free and frequent shuttle bus and beach lift.
Rooms standard sort of size, clean and with good facilities as is the hotel generally.
Nice beach, although a bit rocky when the tide is out so limited swimming time. Option of shade under the trees when it is really hot.
Food is of a good standard and initially seems a reasonable price until you add on the 10% service charge and VAT.
Staff very friendly, relaxed and helpful, but not intrusive.
Would definitely go there again. If you want a quiet spot to contrast with such as Patong beech it is ideal. " |

| "This was our second stay at the Cape Panwa Hotel. The first one being nearly 10 years ago. The hotel itself had changed very little, but the area is obviously becoming much more developed with several new large hotels dotting the hillsides on either side of the Cape Panwa Hotel (some not yet finished/open. Our rooms were not in the best block (overlooking the industrial bay at the back of the hotel) though Most have nicer positions overlooking the gardens and beach at the front of the hotel. Our two boys (aged 11 and 16) were not impressed with the games room, but there were reasonable water sport activities on offer at the beach.
The best thing about the Cape Panwa Hotel is its position overlooking the lovely beach and the seclusion of the hotel site, so it will be a shame if the area becomes overdeveloped.
Staff were friendly, pleasant and helpful. Clientele was generally older couples and package tourists though, which was not so good for us." |

| "We waited for the room for almost 2 hrs but it was worth as they decorated the room for our honeymoon with cake and flowers. Nice service. Quiet and relax!" |

| "We stated at the hotel for 5 nights. We had two triple rooms with interconnecting doors. We thought the hotel was great value. We paid £77.00 per night for two adults and four children.
The staff were really helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The beach was lovely, the children really enjoyed the coral reef that appeared at low tide - plenty of fish to look at and feed. The hotel beach pool is small but was never too crowed and provided welcome shade from the mid day sun.
The hotel provided a free shuttle bus to the nearby sister hotel which was great - a change of scenary only 5 mins away.
The breakfast provided a good choice for all tastes. The beach bar had a good menu with very reasonably priced food and beer!!
Overall we loved the hotel and would love to go back - it has an old world charm that is rare to find now a days.
Thank you to Asia rooms aswell for their great prices!! " |

| "Cape Panwa is beautiful! We went for our honeymoon and were pleasantly surprised. We had a jaccuzi suite which was lovely. The hotel rooms are a bit old in parts but still really good. If you want a relaxing, peaceful stay then Cape Panwa is the way to go. The free shuttle into the little town was so handy and there are some cute little restaurants to eat at. Not the place to go for shopping though is reasonably close to phuket town which has great nightmarkets on the weekend. The pool is not the best pool I have seen but the gardens and beach area are so nice we spent all our time down there. Only downfall is the tide goes way out after lunch so you can only swim at the beach in morning. Overall, a lovely resort and highly reccommended!" |
