| "The staff at the hotel were really friendly and helpful. The only areas that let it down were the quality and value for money of the food and the restaurant service. The pools were great but the rules about saving sun loungers with towels were not enforced and the non slip pebble dashed parts of the pool were a bit of a hazard causing cuts and grazes.
It's a bit of a hike to the beach to get round Club Med but the hotel provide free transport there. The local shops are and restaurants are good but as you would expect, prices are tourist prices so some hard bargaining is required." |

| "We enjoyed our stay although found the room too small for 3 adults. It was really a room for 2 in which they had crammed in a fold up bed for my 14 year old son. Breakfast buffet was one of the best I've ever had although if you arrived at certain times you had to wait for a table. Clientele were overwhelmingly Swedish with a few English. Spa was great although a bit expensive by Thai standards as you can get massages just outside the hotel grounds for a fraction of the price. Location wasnt the best as it was quite a walk to the beach but a shuttle bus was provided in the mornings. There was a 7 eleven convenience store a short walk away. The room had tea/coffee making facilities but no milk was provided. We asked them to clear out the minibar so that we could fill it with our own drinks which they did no problem. They provided a free bottle of water per person every day. Taxi fare to Patong was 400 baht, a set fare. We took a taxi from the airport and it cost only 650 baht for a 50 minute journey but on the way the taxi driver stopped at a travel agency and they tried to sell us tours. We didnt buy but booked our return taxi to the airport there. We really enjoyed our stay in the Centara and found it a restful place to spend a few days on our way home from Australia." |

| "Centara is a very nice hotel for the money. The breakfast was very good and fresh. Hotel provides shuttle service to the beach however we didn't use it. It only took us 10 minutes to walk to the beach but after a late night the walk seems a little longer. After the Kata Beach Resort hotel this was the nicest one and much cheaper. All in all a very nice above average hotel. Location is the one downfall." |

| "We were there with our toddler and we stayed in the family suite on the ground floor. Centara is a truely family oriented hotel. We loved the size of the room and the balcony that leads directly to the pool. The mosquito situation was pretty bad though. Despite applying repellent, we were all badly bitten. Installing those mosquito UV lights or planting some mosquito repelling plants throughout the estate might help.
The beach however is a good 15mins walk away due to the Club Med "fortress" that blocks direct access. The hotel has a shuttle to the beach in the morning but it's only one way. Would really help if the shuttle takes us back to the hotel as well.
Overall, we had a good time at Centara and will definitely consider staying there again." |

| "Got upgraded to a 1BR suite so it was great.
The facilities were great. Perfect for those who have kids. The kiddie pool was the best because it was low enough for my 9month old daugther to walk on. They also provided some toys for the kids.
I was a bit disappointed with the staff at the spa. I wanted to reserve a massage booking but they told me to call back when the supervisor was finished with his meeting. Other than that the service was great. Food was also good and not that pricy for a great resort. The location was not that good. It is a 20min walk to the beach not 10mins as claimed but then again Phuket is already crowded. Only good about the location is that it is near a 7-Eleven. The resort is the only good thing about my vacation in Phuket because Phuket is overrated and pricy. Boracay, Philippines is a whole lot better. I wish Centara would put up a resort there." |

| "This hotel was absolutly georgious. We really enjoyed the stay and the accomidations. Everything was a perfect 10 except 2 things. The location for excursions were about an hour from popular departure spots. The other thing is that there was a lot of "topless" guest which i personally dont care but i thought it was pretty inconsiderate of the local people and if you take offence to public nudity this probably isnt the place for your family. other than that it was incredible" |

| "all in all it is a fantastic hotel
we just love the thai people, they are fantastic it was our 3. stay
the only thing we could complain about is the missing towels by the pool
we were traveling 4 people and needed to use towels saturday by the pool - but at nine o'clock before breakfast there were no more towels! why?
it was the only time we needed ekstra service...." |

| "Great choice of swimming pools but cannot say much more.
The staff had the habit of keeping your change as a tip even though service charge was already on the bill." |

| "Most of the hotel was occupied with families and little children. It was impossible to swim un the pools. Recommend that one of the pools will be for swimmers only" |
