| "We have just completed our third stay at this hotel and once again our stay was a wonderful experience. The location is good in that it is off the main street (about 250 metres)with a walk to the beach of about 800 metres total. At the bottom of the street are open air restaurants with plent of variety. A 10 minute walk to to the beach and about 15 minutes to Bangla Road and JungCeylon
We stayed in the Spa wing and had our own spa directly outside the room. The water was warm unlike our last stay around December when the weather was cooler as was the spa temperature. Our room was clean and tidy as was the bathroom all although it did have a slightly musty smell which I have found common in Thailand, no doubt due to the climate. We had a chance to look at the garden view rooms and they seemed quite good considering their price.
Breakfast was of good quality with the menu changing slightly each day. We noticed there was no bacon and I asked the chef one morning why and it seems that the cost has skyrocketed. Apart from that we found the breakfast very good. We also had the seafood buffet which was good value for money
The most enjoyable part of our stay, was our interaction with the staff. We found them to be friendly and obliging patricularly our waitress, Monrudee (who has now left the hotel and the 4 "Rats" at reception. All ladies with "rat" in their christian names and the bell boys.) While some of the staff have trouble with their english, I have more trouble with my Thai, but I know that if you learn a few simple words you will have a very enjoyable stay, remember there are so many english accents for the staff to try and understand.
Once again a great stay at the Deevana and looking forward to our next stay" |

| "My 3rd stay at this resort, stay in the garden wing but in the newer block beside the pool. Stuffs are more efficient at reception than before.
Overall a worthy stay at this roomrate." |

| "I hae travelled throughout Thailand several times now. My family were celebrating a special event and a large group of us were ataying at the Deevana. There are several wings, new/old parts gto the hotel. The rooms are very noisy and have lights poorly postioned where they shine through your bedroom window. There are 3 large pools which are a drawcard. Breakfast is very boring - no bacon. Small daily changes are made with a large emphasis on pastry such as doughnuts. The hotl has a very stale/cold feeling it seems to lack the traditional warm Thai vibe that many other hotels excel in. If you do want to travel to Phuket keep in mind there is constant industrial work going on all over the island. It is no longer the quiet island it once was. The final disappointing straw at the Deevana was charging our family who were spread out over four rooms, the cost of a missing teaspoon. When we explained it could have been in several other rooms staff were boarding rude and unhelpful. A very disappointing end to our trip, considering our extensive stay there. No members of our family group will be returning there. " |

| "The location is OK. It is about 10 to 15 mins to the shopping area. Patong beach is about 15 to 20 mins away. There's a eating area for seafood in the evening, just 5 mins walk from the hotel. The downside was there were many mosquitoes. We called for room service to replace lights but they did not come within half an hour. We went out for dinner, so we did not know if they came afterall. The reception staff were not very friendly though they spoke some English. The breakfast was pretty good over the 3 days we were there. Some food items were changed every morning, so, you don't have to eat the same food everyday. I guess, it's fairly OK for Singapore dollars$56 for a room during low peak season. But I won't pay anything more for that kind of room." |

| "Me and my wife visited this resort towards the end of May and we must sincerely say, we enjoyed ourselves tremendously. We stayed in a Garden View room. The room was decorated nicely.. Staff are friendly, lovely enviroment.. Breakfast served was delicious. We are already planning for our next visit again soon. A definite must visit for all couples and families visiting Patong Beach. Thanks to all the resort staff for making our Holiday an unforgettable one. " |

| "Fantastice Hotel: We were upgraded on arrival because we had prebooked and the hotel was busy. Very friendly Staff. Walking distance to markets and beach but out of the hustle and bustle of things. Would highly recommend the Spa wing thou to garden area. Cannot Fault anything with our stay. Except spa is expensive. Fantastic breakfast buffet (best we had in Thailand)Beautiful hotel and pool" |

| "originally booked the cheapest room but I hated it. fortunately upgrade was available and it cost only 8 quid per night more.
relatively close to the beach and bangla road.
ideal place for couples.
"guests" are not encouraged and charged at 500B per piece/night.
the only problem for those traveling with laptop is - no internet. only in the lobby and some rooms near the main pool (wireless). you have to purchase internet time separately and it is slow.
over all very enjoyable stay. " |
