| "This is the worst value Hotel in Thailand!!! We had a terible experience here and could not get a refund on our pre-paid booking even though the hotel did not deliver on all it promised in the website. Despite the lack of refund we moved out of this hotel as it was just to awful to bear.
- The rooms reeked of 20 year old stale cigarette smoke and made a bad job of covering this with cheap airfreshener
- we paid extra for the "ocean front" room which was nowhere near the ocean!
- The pools were old and uninviting and filled with children. The edges of the pool looked dangerous.
- the rooms were too far away and required a very steep climb to get to and from
- the lobby was stifling with no airconditioning
- the breakfast dining area was full of smoke and when we asked for non smoking we were taken to an very small area that was right next door to smokers!
- the beach was unswimmable. Just rocks.
- it was too far from the patong area so going to the beach required either a complimentary bus that was always fully booked or a 200 baht tuk tuk trip
- Everything was tired and dated... they were celebrating 20 years of operation (obviously no renovating or refurbishing in that time)
We checked out of this $240 a night rip off hotel and went to the Club Andaman which was far superior in every way and $100 a night cheaper for their best rooms. A much nicer experience and closer to the beach.
We are still bitter about not receiving a refund for the nights that we could not endure and had to check out. But because we had pre-paid they would not give us back a cent. They informed us that they have a 1000% no refund policy!! I can see why... they must have a very large quantity of people that try to get out of this hotel... it is that bad! " |

| "nothing real good to say about this hotel, very old rooms dating back to the seventies, checkin was like a school lesson, not very clean around the pools, dont buy food or drinks in this hotel as they are very expensive just go outside and turn left and your in patong where the food is much cheaper, my girlfriend noticed that the hotel catered mainly for asians as shes from bangkok and there were not many europeans staying there and they seemed to get better treatment, there are much better hotels on patong beach for a quarter of the price i paid, very disapointed" |

| "I stayed for 4 nights in early Aug.'06 and feel very unpleasant about this hotel. 1. The air-con located outside every room has huge noise when you walk though the corridor. The most unbelivable thing is I can hear the noise of walk in my upper room and huge noise of toilet flush from the room next to mine. I told the reception that I want to change to the top room but they asked me to pay more money. Next day they changed my room and told me there is no body in my upper room. However, I still heard someone walk in my upper room. I called my next room and someone picked up the phone and told me he heard the noise, too.
2. Most of toys in kid's house are worn or broken.
3. Resturant is not clean
4. The only thing I feel happy is the cooking class of the hotel. The lady is very nice and polite teaching us Thai food.
I still don't recommend anyone to stay in this hotel" |
