| "My boyfriend and I stayed at Karon Princess from 27 Jul - 2 Aug. We decided on Karon Princess after reading the rave reviews on AsiaRooms and we weren't disappointed! The hotel is planned along a very long rectangle of land to maximise seaview. We booked the Deluxe Sea View room and chose options like high floor and honeymoon.
Check-in was easy and our room was right at the back behind the swimming pool. Very nicely decorated with rose petals and orchids! The room was spacious, comfortable and the view was good. Only thing was that construction works were going on right next to the hotel.
Our air conditioning wasn't working the 1st day so we asked someone to take a look at it and service was prompt and they even came back to check if it was working. Well done! Breakfast was a mix of thai dishes and western breakfast. The egg station is absolutely great! Omelettes, scrambled eggs, hard boiled, sunny side up.
Karon Princess is situated near enough the busier streets. About 10-15 mins walk to the right. To the left about 20-25 mins walk is another town area with this great fried chicken stall. Quiet enough for relaxing and the pool is always busy with sun-tanners.
Although the bathroom was slightly scruffy, the shower stalls had mold around the edges, door didn't work too well, overall it was value for money. The balcony was big and housekeeping was prompt." |

| "Marvelous! We never expected that the hotel actually prepared for our honeymoon with flowers and petals arrangements all around the room, which was really fantastic to begin our trip on. The hotel staffs are generally friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again if we're travelling to Phuket in the near future." |

| "Excellent Hotel!! The person who decorated the rooms really thought about little things that come in handy. Breakfast is great. And if you want something, you can ask for it. One of the reasons that we chose this hotel was because of the free internet, but they donīt have free internet and they donīt have wireless internet. It costs 20 Baht per hour and is terribly slow. But nevertheless we were very happy that weīve chosen this hotel. All the other things really made up for it and there is plenty of opportunity for internet in Karon City, which is a nice 5 minute walk along the boulevard away. What about the staff? Like everywhere: some are nice and some are not. Maybe theyīre having a bad day or they just donīt like you for whatever reason. Thatīs something you have to take for granted in Thailand. But overall the staff was friendly." |

| "The stay at Karon Princess was good. The rooms are spotless, very tidy and spacious. The only downfall is the service by the reception.Very bad Attitude with not even a smile on their faces. The pool is not as big as potrayed in their site. The buffet was good.Eateries are mainly at Kata Beach which is 1/2hr walk from this hotel. No good eateries found near this hotel.Provides a secluded beach unlike Patong." |

| "My wife and I were looking for a place to stay on our homeymoon and the Princess was the perfet answer. WE went in the off season which was a bit warm, but the a/c had no problems keeping up with the heat. The location away from the nightlife of Patong beach was great. The hotel had a tour booking place whcihc appeared to be run by a hotel staff. They were very helpful in making all of the arrangements that we needed and answering our questions. The kitchen even cooked up our fish that we caught on the fishing trip." |

| "We stayed for 5 nights in superior room which clean roomy and quiet. The beach is right across street from hotel and we enjoyed the street food stalls which was parallel to hotel street. Breakfast was good and there is a public bus which you could take to Phuket main bus station or to Patpong for 30bht/person otherwise expect to pay 400-500bht to the Tuk-Tuk mafia outside hotel. Also we rented a motorbike from hotel which I do not recommend since they never service their motorbikes and provide no road assistant. I would rather renting it from a motorbike shop which is near food stalls and the cost is cheaper then hotel." |

| "My wife & I enjoyed our 3 night stay in Phuket. It was a lovely touch with the heart shape flowers on the bed and the entire room & bathroom were decorated with flower petals. My wife loved it. The smile on my wife's face when we entered the room is priceless.
We had the room facing the swimming pool. I believe that's the BEST view of the entire hotel. Thanks again for your recommendation. There's construction work going on next door, but the sound proofing in the room is pretty good. We hardly noticed it. Furthermore, it ends @6:30pm and most days we were out so we were not affected at all.
Turn left from the hotel entrance you'll find restaurants and pubs. You can also book your travel packages there, even taxi to town or airport. Prices are better too and they stay open later. I was a little disappointed with the receptionist when we return to the hotel @5:30pm to book the famous Simon cabaret show but was told that their travel office is closed. She didn't even offer another alternative. Luckily the travel agency next door is open and their prices were much better than the hotel or even in town. We booked our taxi to the airport with them as well.
One thing i have to say is that the hotel phone nr cannot be reached. I tried several times using a public phone but failed. There was even a kind local girl who used her hp to call the hotel but failed as well. No hunting line maybe?
Turn right from the hotel entrance is a shopping bazaar. Pretty convenient and enjoyable because the salespersons are very friendly. Got a few items at bargain prices, even cheaper than Karon/Patong town. It is also a walking distance to Karon town, which is nice. All along the way to town, you can find good eating places.
If you want a relaxing time and a beach all to yourself, then this is the place to stay. Otherwise, Patong beach will be more happening.

| "Very enjoyable stay, quiet location, but this was perfect for us. It was great value for money, as we were there in low season. Would probably stay here again if i was down that way. " |
