The Karon Sea Sands is nicely located close to the beach (just across the road as there are no hotels directly on the beach because of the road) and just round the corner from lots of shops, restaurants and bars in walking distance. The hotel is at one end of Karon beach and in our opinion the better end with more character. The other end was more commercialised/touristy and more like being in Spain!
The hotel is lovely and the buffet breakfast was very nice. The swimming pool area is quiet and pretty but if you like a sunbed and the hotel is busy you will have to get up very early with your towel! however with the beach across the road this shouldn't matter. Would stay there again.

Good location, across from large sandy beach easy access to other resorts. Good choice at buffet breakfast, friendly and helpful staff.Special evening entertainment and BBQs.We added an extra seven nights to our original booking. " |
