Karon Whale is a good, basic hotel. The rooms are a good size and clean. The mini bar sells at market prices. The pool is nice. The staff are really really friendly and helpful. The breakfast food is fine -- really yummy omlettes. We visited in low season so there were not many guests which made it extra fun, we had the pool to ourselves most days and got to know all the staff.

| "the hotel is a nice hotel in a little street with bars and shops.
The hotel is smaller than expected if you see the pictures. When we stayed there were building next to the swinningpool during the day it was noisy.
Staff friendly, very clean rooms, the building looks a bit dating.
Will stay here again. " |

| "During my stay from 6th Sep till 8th Sep 07, there was construction just in front of hotel entrance. We couldn't find the hotel at all.
But the service overall was good, not much tourist that time so it was a good place for my families to enjoy the swimming pool.
The staffs were friendly. We like the "club sandwich and noodles soup" especially but the breakfast is not much variety as it is a la carte style.
There were still have construction during midnight, eventhough it does not really become a hassle... " |

| "The location is good, very near Karon beach, easy to go shopping. However, their English is a bit difficult to understand and the room is not big enough. Even when you book a triple room for a family, they only add a bed between two beds into a standard double-beds room." |
