Excellent beach front location. Beautiful beach and clear water. Resort not new but a good standard and very well maintained. Staff are polite, friendly and professional. Breakfasts cater for all tastes, cooked eurpoean, Asian and continental and is well prepared with excellent service.
Whilst this is not the Hilton, it is a good resort,
excellently located, offering a good range of amenities. Excellent for those who want a good relaxing time at the beach, some night life and shopping. If you want nightlife, it is 15 minutes away by taxi. Excellent for couples, families and seniors.

| "As fairly seasoned Phuket travellers, we were looking for a beach front hotel, away from the madness of Patong but with plenty of choice for eating out and some shopping. Kata Beach Resort was perfect and we all enjoyed the 4 day break. The beach is so beautiful and sea as clean and blue as you could imagine. Great surf but watch out for the really big waves that slap you onto the sand!Big room with a swimming pool/jaccuzi out side the door and great breakfast. We spent nearly all the time on the beach and ate great local seafood either on the beach or in Kata Town. Great deal from Asia Rooms for a late stay. We will be back." |

| "The hotel and room interior looks new and clean and gives a positive first impression.
Hotel staff was not as friendly as seen before in other locations in Asia.
The pool looks clean, but the pool environment is somehow cold and loveless. The beach does not belong to the hotel, and thus there are no hotel beachchairs available. The beach itself was nice, but not very clean, at least outside area directly in front of the hotel.
A lot of restaurants and bars around the hotel makes the evening everithing but boring.

| "Stayed in Deluxe room on ground floor which meant we could walk straight out onto the pool deck area and reserve our sunbed...a must at this hotel as there are insufficient number of sunbeds for the numbers of guests staying there!!! Hotel on beach which is ideal. Plenty of good quality restaurants in hotel vicinity too, as well as shops, massage etc.
Service and cleanliness excellent. Problem with mosquitoes in room...think they were breeding in the aircon system. Had consistent problem on daily basis with the loo overflowing, this was always blamed on us putting paper in the loo...I've lived in Thailand and KNOW this is a no-go and despite evidence to the contrary in the bin next to the loo this was a continual accusation! BUT they were prompt in sending an "engineer" to sort the problem, and a cleaner to clean the overflow mess too! Fun stuff, not the sort of problem you expect to deal with in a top hotel...hey ho" |
