We had a wonderful stay celebrating our overdue honeymoon. As the hotel had not quite been completed and we expressed our concerns about some disruption/noise. Your managers kindly arranged to up grade us from a pool side suit to a pool villa. We greatly appreciated this gesture and particularly want to thank Na for her prompt attention to our issue.
The service from all staff, especially those at breakfast, was first class. The rooms were wonderful and the location great. Our only comment is that as you are finishing the hotel some more attention needs to be given to the "builders clean up". Some paint needs to ne cleaned off tiles and other parts of the rooms, and some painting needs to be finished better. People who are used to focussing on details notice these things.Apart from this everything was great.
We will defitely recommend you hotel to our friends in Australia and we will be back.
Thank you for a wonderful holiday.
Yours sincerely.
Mark and Jodi Peters

| Last La Flora Resort Patong Hotel Reviews - 2 Unbiased Traveler Review (s) |
4/5 Posted by Mr and Mrs Picky Traveller, Canada in July 2008

| "We chose La Flora Patong maninly because of its beachfront location. La Flora Patong is one of the only two beachfront resorts on Patong. It is at its soft-opening stage. We previously stayed in Twinpalms on Surin beach and Arahmas on Nai Yang beach so this time we would like to feel what is like in Patong. Compared to the other resorts we had stayed, we were a little disappointed of the size of the resort(boutique does not equate small!). The decor/color scheme of the hallways and rooms seems a bit too blend. Despite the hotel is brand new, we already found cracks in some of the tiles and rust stain in the the bathroom. I think this is a problem of craftsmanship.
As said, the hotel is on a small and narrow property, literally squeezed between Starbucks and McDonald's. There is not much space at all for us to walk around the resort. Though, it is close to many shops and Juncelyon Shopping center is within walking distance. The lobby is noisy as it is facing the main street, however, the rooms are tucked away towards the beach so noise wasn't an issue.
Service was good. Staff was very nice and helpful. Problems (toilet kept plugging) were addressed promptly. Turn down service was nicely done (replenished bottled water/towels/drinks).
If luxury, beachfront and Patong is your choice, La Flora Patong shall please you. We personally found Patong too touristy for us.
